Winter on The Lake 1000 pc Jigsaw Puzzle

Wife loves to do puzzles. After assembling, noticed a piece missing. Checked all around the table and no piece found. Then realized there was a duplicate piece. Don't know how this could happen. See pics.

Bought this puzzle in 2014. We have enjoyed putting it together through several winter seasons. It is very challenging and absolutely beautiful as it comes together. Good quality and many hours of puzzling.

This puzzle was a big disappointment to both my father and me. We have done two other Sunsout shaped puzzles - one of a trout and one of an eagle - and we really enjoyed the unusual shaped pieces in those puzzles. But the pieces of this puzzle were so oddly shaped that they did not interlock together well. The pieces were constantly coming apart and even when a section was completed, there were gaps between the pieces. There was no border around the edge, so it was impossible to distinguish the edge pieces from the others. Some pieces were so small and slender that they were already bent when we opened the box. In the end, at least six pieces were missing and we know that we could not have misplaced or lost that many. We did manage to finish the puzzle, but it was not a fun experience. We enjoy a challenge, but the poor design and poor quality of this puzzle took away the pleasure and satisfaction that we usually find in working on a challenging jigsaw puzzle. Dad told me today that he will be throwing it away, as we won't want to do this puzzle again or pass it along to anyone else.

Box was in pristine condition when it arrived (that's a big sticking point with me). I think this is the prettiest of the seasons at the lake series. I'm having great fun completing it.

A beautiful and challenging puzzle to put together. However, could not appreciate the finished product due to 4 pieces missing. Not worth the hassle of trying to send it back, since Amazon is not giving me the option for an exchange. Other than the missing pieces, the colors were beautiful, the pieces were uniquely cut, and it was a fun activity during these cold nights in January.

i did this shaped puzzles a few months ago and the biggest thought about this puzzle is that it was one of the tougher sunsout shaped puzzle that i have done. i have done about 10 sunsout shaped puzzle and this one i would consider the toughest for me. with that said, it was still fun and doable. there is so much detail in each piece and the shapes were unique which makes it more interesting for me. if you want a challenge, this shaped puzzle is the one.

I am very surprised on the quality of this puzzle. Pieces are tiny and don’t fit together yet well. I’ve purchased many shaped puzzles from Sunsout, especially Lori Schory puzzles, but the quality of this one is terrible. I’m very dissatisfied with it and will be throwing it back in the box. Waste of $25.

This puzzle was fun. Took me a long time to get it all together. Had to work on a section and glue to together to get the whole puzzle together. Glued it all together and hung it on the wall.

I purchased this jigsaw as a Christmas present for my Mum who is housebound. She loved the complexity of the pieces and picture but struggled to complete it. Sadly this was because a few pieces where missing and although now complete is not the full picture. Appreciate these things occur in the manufacturing process, but should have been picked up by QA.

Yes was pleased with the purchase
