Desiring a non-leather belt, and having a few old surcingles (fabric), I thought this might make a sort of stylish addition, at $13.49. (How many belts does one need?)OK, the style is decent, and the quality seems to be too (in short use). There are a few stray threads that may cause issues down the line. I'd say that the end of the belt -- the part with the leather tang (it's a tad over 1.25") -- is just a bit too wide, given the width of the belt itself. That is, it's wider than the belt, and may cause some issues when sliding it through the loops of one's pants. Curiously, it's even wider than belt's metal loop, and so needs to be slightly pushed into that (and catches upon removal).My main issue -- hence the 3 Stars -- is the length and stretchyness (which seems to be one main complaint about it). This belt is still fairly new, and will likely stretch even further as it ages. I wear a 38" waist, and so ordered the 36"-40". When cinched to the tightness I prefer (which, granted, might be a bit tighter than what others prefer), there is a good 8" that extends past the buckle. For my tastes, maybe 4" too long. And, as mentioned, likely to get longer. Hey, unless I gain some weight! There's a thought!Too bad they don't have a 34"-38" : I'd buy another. One can never have enough belts, right?
