Clear and easy to follow instructions. The book is a great reference book and a quick read. If you have an IGT slot machine this is a must have.

Good read for someone new to slots. I didn’t find it too useful. All the info here is easily found on forums or the web. Doesn’t go in depth on actual repairs or procedures.

The book is great info though it is dated. It is a good foundation for the basics of repairing older machines. Good for a starting point for new or inexperienced techs. I recommend it for beginners. It could use more pictures of the material.

This book has been very helpful in every aspect of slot machines. Easy to understand for even a beginner. I managed to get my 1st slot machine up and running by myself after reading this book.

This would be a good book if you were a slot tech and didn't have the IGT S+ manual for it's diagnostic test tables because so much of this book appears copied from it. The authors written sections comprise a surprising amount of space listing the parts of a slot machine; buttons, reels, coin hopper... But then jumps into the technical information from the service manual (which can be found online for free). No instruction is given beyond what's in the repair manual. This book does not tell or teach you how to work on a slot machine.In only one instance did I find an actual suggestion based on the author's experience regarding a common problem for this machine. This book does not tell or teach you how to work on a slot machine (yes, I've said that twice).If you are technically savvy and want to $10 for a small portion of the service manual just get the manual with all the information. For the lay person who just wants to find out why their machine doesn't work and how to fix it I recommend joining a online forum for slot machines. There you will get the suggestions, advice and guidance you'd expect to get from this book.

Not a lot of information- waste of money
