Only one side works
Mine didn't work well. Only got connection on one side and the other was a dud.Im abroad so no return possible.

First one didn't come in. Replacement doesn't work.
So, let me start off by saying that I had gotten 2-day shipping on this item and got it nearly a week later. That's not necessarily the manufacturer's fault, it's the delivery person's fault for marking it as delivered before they actually delivered it. This review is actually about how after a week of waiting and calling Amazon to mail me a replacement, I FINALLY get it in and it doesn't work. In my apartment, they provide internet and I only have one cat5 port under my desk, this was the only option I had given I only needed a wired connection for 2 devices and anywhere in my town only sells splitters with upwards of 5 ports. I was surprised at the built quality on the outside but obviously this device is cheap for a reason if it redirects the internet to whichever Ethernet cord you plug into it last. Wasn't even worth my time buying this. Given the first incident was probably a fluke, I would say, save yourself the hassle and just buy a different one.

Intermittent for network connections. Works flawlessly if needed to split out serial data.

Neat lil splitter
Looks great and simple. Unfortunately tried hardwiring my PS4 Pro and smart TV(who won't connect to WiFi for some reason) and it won't work if both Ethernet cables plugged in even if one or the other is turned off. But still like the connection so sure I'll find a use for it sometime

Splitter Does not work
I purchased this slitter in March, 2020 and have not used it until today. I has been stored in the box on a shelf. The splitter only provides signal to one leg of the cable. The splitter feels solid but after checking the connections it is obvious the defect is within the wiring as signal is only running through one side. I no longer have a return option so buyers beware. I will find another manufacturer.
