Helps with neck, shoulders and forehead (migranes) pain!
I’m so glad I got this product. Having intense pain in my neck, shoulders and recently a few migraines, I was looking for a natural way to help alleviate them. I’ve been hearing about this product, so figured I could give it a try. The first day I used it, it was very uncomfortable. I aligned the elevated points with the base of my skull and allowed it drop. After a few minutes the pain went away. I’ve been using this daily now, and I’m really starting to see a difference. The best part is that I’m not having migraines like I use to.PROS:* Natural remedy to alleviate tensions in your neck, shoulders and forehead (migraines).* Compact and travel friendly.* Helped stop the need of medication to deal with the pain.* Also helps with spinal alignment (slumped posture). I’ve been having less back pain and can sit up straight without issues.* Helps relieve stress as well; very relaxing.* It has a removable interconnecting layer, so you’re children can use it too.* Saves you A LOT of money on medication, ER bills, unpaid sick days, etc. (Migraines can be pretty expensive)CONS:* Uncomfortable at first, but you have to start off slow and increase time the next day.

Very Effective
So you must be aware that this is more of a pressure point devise. Yes, it works to stretch the curvature of the neck but get ready for some muscle release. And oh my gosh...is this fantastic. I'm a retired dancer my neck is Kyphotic due to an old injury. The material has some give but not tons. This is how I used it: Make sure you start using this on the lowest level. If it hurts...stop...drink lots of water...and try again the next day. Your neck might need to adjust to this over the course of a few days. Shoot for no more than 3 days per week. But I can assure you that this little device is worth it's weight in gold. My sleep is better, and my jaws feel so relaxed. So glad I purchased this.

Gives occipital relief
I have had severe occipital nerve pain for 12 years that affects me daily. This "tool" is very helpful to relax the muscles at the base of the skull which helps reduce the nerve pain.I love that it is not all hard plastic but there is a little give to the knobs. This helps prevent too much pressure on the nerves.I also love that the base is removable so it is close to the correct height for your body. If you use it at too high of a height (if you are small framed) your neck will be stretched out in the incorrect position and can cause more pain in the area.It is extremely important to use this only for a minute or two to begin with and slowly increase the time you use it. If you start using it 10+ minutes at a time it will be too much for the nerves and muscles and cause more pain.About the only way I can think of to improve this product is for it to be human fingers from a physical therapist. ; )Both me and my physical therapist recommend this as long as you follow the instructions on how to use it.

Needs fine tuning
Not what I was expecting, but that was not the vendors fault. It's pretty much a textured foam block. It has good firmness but it's kinda on the small side I had to elevate it for it to even reach my neck. No clear instructions or guide with the product, secondary sources for help are fine but you need to put an infographic on recommended use and directions

Well, that worked...
I've head crushing headaches since maybe March of 2022. Face pain. Aches. Jaw pain. Cheek pain. Throbbing pain at the base of my skull and neck (that went as far back to January/Feb of 2022). Left arm aches. Shoulder aches. Primarily all on my left side. Ice pick headaches. The last few weeks the right side had started to act up as well.Eventually, I essentially demanded a script from my doctor for physical therapy as a massage therapist felt good, but was inadequate at fixing my issue. I bought this product as a last ditch effort. Since July I have seen my physical therapist over 25 times. I felt like progress was being made as I was, am, in good hands. But I wanted more. For the last two weeks I've heated my neck/head just about every night and used the Occipital Release Tool for 10-15 minutes a night. While my physical therapist is top notch, it seems this tool has helped significantly. I would call my case relatively severe. I had to quit two jobs due to my inability to be relied upon in pressure circumstances. For me, this took was huge and I recommend it to anyone who thinks they are without hope. I'm hoping I don't relapse. But, at this point and time, I continue to improve.

Not as described
This device does nothing for your neck pain. It does not hurt, but it doesn’t do anything either.

Don’t buy unless a doctor or pt recommends
Be careful when purchasing, this can aggravate cervical/Neuro problems because it’s so hard. Your doctor or physical therapist needs to recommend a device according to your specific condition and you should always work up in material from soft to rock hard like this! Made my symptoms a lot worse.

COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT!
I get horrible, almost daily occipital headaches to the point of nausea. I have tried EVERYTHING (massage, PT, chiropractor, magnesium, acupuncture, ice, X Rays and MRI's, you name it I have probably tried it). I found this Occipital Release Tool and I cannot thank the makers of this product enough! I am headache free for the last 2 weeks! This ORT is AMAZING!!! If my neck starts to get sore or tight, I just lie on it and rotate my head back and forth for a few minutes and when I sit up its like my neck has been released from pain. I truly believe it has taken me from all day long headaches every single day to headache free. If you have any occipital or suboccipital muscle pain get this tool!
