I rarely write reviews - unless I feel a product REALLY deserves it. This Sky+HD box is one of those. It was delivered in a double box, very securely packaged, and even arrived early! On opening it, I was extremely impressed with, not only the actual Sky box, but the fact you get absolutely everything you could possibly need with it - the hdmi lead, brand new Sky remote, power cable (even the batteries) ... wow! Now, being technophobic, I worked myself up into a bit of a state - having absolutely no idea where to begin with dismantling my old 15 year old box, then (somehow) getting this new one installed and up and running. In hindsight, I really had no need to worry - it came with clear, easy to understand instructions and, when I needed a little advice, the chap at Chigwell (Richard) could not have been more helpful if he'd tried. So, to sum up - if you're considering buying one of these 2TB (yes, so much memory, I don't think I'll ever be able to fill it) Sky+HD boxes, just go for it! The product and the company are absolutely amazing! Buy with confidence.

I knew my old Sky box had “died” and didn’t want to get in touch with Sky customer services as they’re a nightmare so I looked on Amazon for a replacement and this came up first with good feedbacks so I put my trust in them and ordered one, glad I did! Prompt delivery, easy to install, no problems so far so I would definitely recommend.

Sold as "New" & as a 2TB upgrade, neither of which I believe to be the case. Clearly not new, as someone else's 'Favourites' had already been chosen, which I saw when I came to enter my own choices. No batteries included, & none of the accessories were genuine Sky equipment - this was addressed by the seller (Sky Deals) providing genuine parts & batteries for the remote on request. Also, based on the amount of space left on disk (94%), after 8 x 1 hour recordings (non HD), I seriously doubt this is a 2TB box. We have another 2TB box, which uses up much less disk percentage/space per recording. Could have bought a refurbished 500gb box (which this essentially is) for a third of the price. But as it's set up & working well, I can't face the hassle of returning it.Updated after more use, June 2020. Definitely not the upgraded 2TB box. Now not even sure it's a 500gb box, based on percentage used per programme, against size of programme - eg 650mgb programme took up 0.3%, which equates to just over 2Gb of space on the box. Advise anyone against buying from this seller - Sky Deals. It's a shame there is no categoric way to determine the size of the hard drive at time of purchase, or receipt of goods - without taking the box apart that is.

Good product that came well packaged and with everything needed. Now have a huge hard drive to record on 2TB and it works so much faster than my old sky box - which was on the verge of dying. Transferring sky card was not an issue - I was a little worried about this. Instructions were clear. Very happy.

The HD satellite signal receiver box is a good solid product. Unlike some SD boxes there is no digital to RF output connector. But otherwise it is good.

Nothing to dislike. The sky box arrived in 4 days. Brand new. My grandson installed it, before the kettle had boiled to make him a cup of tea. Everything worked, I have access to all my channels, can record, play back and pause. Very pleased.

The item arrived perfectly packaged and snuggled into two boxes, which is quite important for a delicate electrical machine. Plus we live in the Channel Islands.It is easy to install (so my brother tells me) and works perfectly. I would recommend this company for their quick service. Thank you Richard

Bought as direct replacement for failed box. Appeared pre-used because the card slot was full of dust. Works OK, except that on trying to download catch-up TV it usually fails but only sometimes works. Have now ordered SKY Q box in SKY in black Friday deal. May have to scrap this box then because I will need a new Sky Card. Now clearly old technology. On the basis of my experience, not recommended unless you can buy it sufficiently cheaply as a potential throw-away.
