Order wrong item, but I kept, with maybe use down the line. Built well.

These extensions got the job done when I had to drill blind through a few floor joists. The only issue is the set screws. No matter how hard I tried to tighten them, I still lost a couple of them. At least they did not come apart and drop between the joists. It could be due to me using an impact drill, so I'd recommend and standard drill and also check and retighten the set screws frequently. Just in case, you can pick up spares. They are M6-1.0x4mm, and 6mm will work if you can't find the shorter 4mm.

This was awesome and I tested the hell out of it... I used forstner bits to bore into maple trees and fir beams, probably 15" per hole and maybe 24 holes I used curtain rod as dowels to secure my treehouse to its foundation 20' in the air in a maple cluster I benched off high.One little trick you might not think to try, I modified one of my round drill bit tails with a small dimple to grab the set screw so that I would not lose it deep in a hole and it would bite better.An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I don't always need a 4-5 foot spade bit for a project. This extension works well to add just a little extra length to get through thicker walls. It works well, but you need to make sure you tighten it enough, or you might lose your bit.

I needed this one for along time but I was waiting for a good sale. And the price was right when I purchased it. I always liked Bosch tools and this is not exception.

Design and construction good but the shaft is not straight. There's a very obvious wobble during operation. Would buy again if I could be sure the next one would be better in this respect.

Needed to get an abrasive wheel into a deep cavity, and this was the perfect solution. Saved my knuckles!
