Humpty Dumpty

I got this book for my great grandchildren and, after receiving it, promptly ordered another for a project my wife is working on. It is delightful, indestructible, and was warmly received by the children. I thought the artwork was lovely. The simplicity and depth of colors seem appropriate for a book aimed at the younger set. Kudos to the talented author, Salina Yoon.One reviewer complained about the Easter tie-in, but Humpty Dumpty is, after all, an egg, and a very colorful one at that. My 2-year-old daughter requested "Humpty Dumpty" for Christmas and left that open to interpretation. I ordered this book, along with another book with the same title. It is very cute and the pictures are brightly colored and engaging. She prefers this over the other book.One thing others should be aware of, though, is that this book is Easter-themed. Humpty is holding an Easter basket with eggs, and at the end of the book, bunnies help put him back together. My daughter likes that part, so I don't mind the added plot twist.Since we purchased this book, she likes to play Humpty Dumpty by sitting on the edge of the couch and falling off, then saying she's broken and can't be fixed (it's cuter than it sounds. haha.) Anyway, I'd recommend this book. It's thick and bright and it's fun to read!

great and sturdy book for toddlers. I love the story with is different ending.

This is a thicker board book with colorful pics. It could be an Easter book because the bunnies save the day for Humpty Dumpty. The verse is the usual one, except and the end the bunnies mend Humpty for a happy ending. It is a favorite reading pic for my one year old.

My grandson Edwin was so escatic upon the arrival of the Humpty Dumpty DVD! I had to spend the night with him on the night of arrival and celebrate with the entire family. The DVD contained several other short movies as well, but Humpty Dumpty was the one he cherished. We all enjoyed it very much. Well worth watching.

My son is 2 and loves an old Humpty Dumpty book from when I was a kid so this book is a hit! Sturdy book!
