Sekonic Deluxe Case for L-478-Series Meters

this case is very well made and was additional pockets which is good. if i knew the light meter came with a case (not as good as this one) i would not have purchased this unit. But, i am glad i did and highly recommend it.

It properly fits the L-478 meter when the 5 degree spot meter is attached. Also has a little pocket for storing the dome piece when not using it.

It’s perfectly good replacement case for my Cikánek meter. It’s a little bulkier than the original because of the outer pocket that I don’t necessarily need but maybe I’ll find a use for. But the bill quality seems excellent and I’m sure it will do the job.

This is a great alternative to the one that comes with the camera, can't recommend enough !

I'm VERY disappointed that at $400 you still have to purchase a $25.00 case! Shame on them. I got the Sekonic L-478DR-U Pocket Wizard version. I love the light meter, but am not happy that they don't take care of their customers better.

Like the Sekonic Exposure Profile Target, its ridiculous that this isn't included with a $500+ product. But that is a gripe for another day.The case is ok. Not great. Not bad. Just 'OK'. It is in no way weather or dust sealed. No inner zipper flap. Not even a vague attempt at sealing the outer pocked that is supposed to hold either the incident or spot attachments when not in use. Absolutely NO padding in the outer pocket so anything (presumably the incident or spot attachment) will have NO protection. I don't expect the case to be waterproof, but - again - I expect more out of a case for a $500 light meter + a $100+ spot attachment.This case is 'ok' I suppose if one is looking for some minimal protection for the meter when tossed inside a gear bag but offers almost no protection for anything in the exterior pouch.For those planning on using their light meter with this case outdoors, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I shoot landscapes in very dusty areas and the lack of any attempt to keep dust out of that pouch is a serious drawback.
