Though the study and ideal of Gemmotherapy is absolutely not a new concept in Europe, US has much to learn and be enlightened with as far as getting to the root of problems. Living and dying on a cellular level is something that needs to be taken seriously and understood. As a medical practitioner, I see a lot and I mean a lot of individuals suffering needlessly due to specifically toxicity overload. Dr. Greaves book is most certainly one of my mainstays as both a student and user of gemmotherapy. I enjoyed all the various case studies, and walk thrus of the oligoelements that are co-factors and requirements to any gemmo remedy protocol. This is a wonderful book for novices and experienced alike. I liked it so much, I don't even mind the typos in fact there are some companies that supply gemmo therapy products that have the exact same typos in there product catalogs so go figure that.

I knew nothing about Gemmotherapy before reading this book. Now I understand the embryonic state of the plant is used in most cases, and this is where the strength and power is. I think of it as the "stem cells" of plants--the baby buds that pack all the power for healing. The book is a "how to" for Gemmo and Oligo therapies. I believe this is the future of alternative medicine. Thanks to Dr. Greaves for his years of study and dedication to bring this to main stream. I also would like to thank him for my renewing health and vitality. I feel great! Thank you!

This book is a quick read but not an easy read. The author is clearly very passionate about the subject he has written about but this doesn't make for easy reading. The flow of the writing is somewhat disjointed and at times his point is not clear at all. The materia medica is poorly laid out for easy referencing, however the case studies are interesting.Unfortunately there are few books available in English addressing these important healing modalities. Overall I was disappointed in this one.

What I like best about Dr. Greaves' book is his cautious approach and that he names certain remedies which could be potentially problematic in cases of cancer. This differs markedly from the see, hear and speak no evil one often encounters in the health care field.

It's a great book!

Greaves did an outstanding job with this book. I refer to it often. It is a shame he is retired as a sequel would be marvoulous!!!!!!!!!! This is a must read for those that want to know more about Gemmotherapy and Oligotherapy!

I bought this book, my friend praised it and highly recommended it to me. The book by itsef, if not augmnented by an external support, will not make you any good. But it has lots of valuable information, that you may find useful once guided by a gemmotherapist. The book is a bit scattered and not easily understandable, but some parts are absolutely invaluable (the introductory ones). It is hard to recommend it unless you are decided to go through the whole gemmotherapy procedure. Then it is indispensable.

I am a Naturopath in Italy and have been using Gemmotherapy for 5 years now with excellent results. This is one of the few texts published in English and although a bit quirky contains invaluable information and also many of his own case studies thus making it a very useful addition to the texts I already refer to in Italian.

Excelent and good

This book is a must have for anyone interested in Gemmotherapy or Oligotherapy. It is a great addition to my library on the subject. The Table of Contents and the Index are well done, making this book a great reference item. The font is spacious, making it easy on the eyes. There is also enough margin for those who like to make notes.

The information is great but the pages slipped out of the perfect binding within hours of opening the package when it arrived. Roses for Dr. Greaves and bricks for Xlibris Corporation.
