Not a pediatric meter
Not easy to take measures in 18 month baby, even it is announced as a pediatric meter. For adults it is ok.

Accurate and fits well
Works well and accurate. I have a 15 year old with respiratory problems so this is perfect for her to keep in her purse. I love the color option too. She usually has a difficult time with this type of pulse ox, and normally requires the "wrap". This one does the trick. She's very small for her age, (49 inches and 50 lbs), and she still has room to grow with it.

In hindsight, I should've returned it. It works ...
In hindsight, I should've returned it. It works on everyone in our family EXCEPT for the person I bought it for (my daughter). For whatever reason, it takes a long time with her (cold fingers or something) and sometimes it does not seem accurate at all. I should've gone with the same one my daughter's school nurse has--the alligator/polar bear.

I do believe the monitor works just fine as long as you get the finger positioned correctly
This is supposed to be a "quick-read" monitor. On adults, it is absolutely quick-read. On little fingers, however, it is not. It is very particular about the placement of the finger, and it seems to take forever to get a reading. I do believe the monitor works just fine as long as you get the finger positioned correctly. It's just difficult to use on a 2 year old who is wiggling and having breathing difficulties.
