I think this must be what is often called Malayan jade, which is dyed quartzite. I realised it couldn’t be real jade at the price paid. It is very pretty and good value for what it is but I would not pass it onto customers as the genuine thing.

Q: How many beads do you get of 8mm?

Hi, I’ve only bought them in 10 & 12mm but I think there were approximately 12 - 13 beads on a string, in the 8mm I would think you would get more. They are very lovely beads. K
