We looked at a number of kids cookbooks before settling on this one for our seven year old daughter who has begun expressing an interest in learning her way around the kitchen. With a little bit of help she's been able to make several of these recipes. The instructions are clear and the illustrations are good. We like that it is spiral bound so it will lay flat on the counter. It is also good because is spells out all the ingredients AND all the utensils needed for each recipe.
