Board Dudes Squeegee Eraser Color May Vary (CYB87)

I love this board eraser. It erases so well! I do wish that it had a magnet on it so I could just hang on the board like the rest of my erasers.

I've been a teacher for 11 years now, and was starting to feel burned out. Another school year just started, with the same top-down reform-of-the-month meetings and the same concerns about kids with 1.2 GPAs being enrolled in my AP classes, overcrowded rooms, and the newest gradebook software still not doing what we want it to do. At least this year I didn't get any death threats on the first day of school and, instead, only had to deal with a stoned student. So, I was thinking this might be my last year before I move on to the private sector and maybe some cushy educational consulting job.Until this morning. I got to use my new Board Dudes Squeegee Eraser for the first time. The ease with which I was able to eradicate yesterday's dried-on notes from my whiteboard, the comfort of the handle in my hand, the total lack of smudging as the myriad colors just vanished under the lightest stroke...the sparkling purity of a perfectly clean whiteboard was...breathtaking.Thank you, Board Dudes, for restoring my drive and energy, for reminding me about the good things in life. I will make it through the next decade of my teaching career as long as I have my squeegee erasers.

This is the best! I don't use it for it's intended purpose though. I do accounting and frequently have to compare numbers on separate screens. I use this squeegee the same way I would use a ruler on paper to guide my vision to the proper line - only on a computer monitor instead. It's much better than leaving fingerprints on your screen, and it extends your reach just enough so your arm doesn't get tired pointing at your screen.

Perfect for my grocery list. Way bigger than I thought it would be. Wish it was magnet.

I received one of these as a gift, and eventually bought one of my own when the first wore out. Now I buy them several at a time online, as they are hard to find in my local office supply stores. They are very neat for erasing large sections of a white board and the ends can be used to make small edits. A teacher friend admired one of mine, so I gave one to her as a Finals Week gift. Eventually the squeegee fills up with the oils from the dry erase markers and I have to order a new one, but the replacements are quite reasonable.

Doesn't really wipe off very well. I have to push hard and then it misses a lot. I think if the felt part was thicker it would work better, but it is thin like an actual rubber squeegee only felt, and stiff, so doesn't seem to want to wipe off the marker! Bummer, as I like the shape and size, but if you have to keep trying to get the stuff off then you might as well just buy a regular felt eraser. A bit disappointed and wouldn't recommend this one.

This is a strong eraser, effective on even hard-to-clean boards, and I find the design a substantial improvement over old-fashioned erasers. I can erase quickly and thoroughly.The actual erasing surface is a lot smaller, so I do guess that they'll wear out faster than traditional erasers, but at this price that's not a problem. I haven't actually worn one out yet, but I went ahead and laid in a stockpile. At the very least, I needed extras to give to covetous colleagues....

You may wonder what makes a squeegee eraser such a hot item?? But one cannot underestimate the importance of a good eraser. This squeegee design makes erasing things super quick and easy with a much more natural swiping motion. Way better than a traditional style.The quality of the item is marvelous, and the bright blue color is very pleasing! The eraser part is very durable and is easy to clean. Bravo to the Board Dudes for making this great item.
