Review: Excellent little adapter, at a very reasonable price !!! - The adapter arrived very quickly, and performs flawlessly! The tiny size (all in one, without a cable between connectors) is ideal for my needs. Love the built-in LED indicators, that show all the data transfer activity. Using this to interface my vintage Garmin GPS V device to my Windows 10 Laptop for transferring maps back and forth. Working great ! This adapter came with a mini CD containing drivers, but wasn't needed because Windows found the driver automatically. Excellent little adapter, at a very reasonable price !!!

The adapter arrived very quickly, and performs flawlessly! The tiny size (all in one, without a cable between connectors) is ideal for my needs. Good product for connecting GENLINK serial connection to newer computers with serial. I like how it can be moved from one USB port to another without having to reconfigure. And when used with IOGEAR GUE216 USB BOOSTER Extension cable it allows longer connection. I like the LEDs that confirm data transfer, which helps to analyze/confirm connection.
