I QUALIFY FOR OVER 13 BY 55 YEARS
I bought it because I got tired of using a mortal and pestle made for me by a friend in her pottery class (bless her heart) to grind nuts. I bought a lot of shelled nuts on sale that are in the freezer and after the tiresome grind I saw this rolling pen and that it is non stick. Yea! I grind or smash nuts on a 12" x 16" tray quickly and put into the green apple shaped bps free plastic containers I got from Amazon.I've been buying over-ripe to almost liquid brown bananas for 29 cents a pound that I freeze. I put one or more of the frozen bananas into a Rachel Ray skillet that I bought at Amazon and cover with orange flavored water from a pitcher with a submersible slotted tube (can't remember the name of it) that I also bought at Amazon. You can tell I don't get out much. I boil the bananas and stir and smash them until they become a hideous green spread and the water is evaporated. I put the bananas in one of the same apple green bps plastic containers as the smashed nuts. They keep for several days if I haven't eaten them all before then.I put the bananas on top of most everything, sweet as well as savory, and now the smashed nuts. So, skinless and boneless chicken thighs cooked under broiler. Collard greens and pasta or a grain that I can't remember the name of but it is supposed to be really good for us and was used by the Maya, hopefully not served as a side dish with one of their unfortunate enemies.Actually, I would not give one to any five year old I've every known. It can be used in malicious ways to smash and ruin something precious to me as well as a weapon against siblings or unwary little persons and even Grandmothers. Ha, ha, wasn't that the cutest thing you ever did see? Howard just hit Granny in the crook of her knee with that cute little rolling pin and felled her. Ha, ha, ha.

Silly rabbit; rolling pins are for kids.
Well first things first, I'm an idiot and I didn't realize this was for kids. I saw "Non Stick Rolling Pin" and I was sold. I also saw the high star rating, which gave me another excuse to not read the product description, but either way it's my own fault. While this was not what I had expected to receive, there are some benefits to a children's rolling pin. It is smaller of course, so it takes up less space in your kitchen drawer. It also gives you more control and precision. The greatest downfall, however; is that it takes longer and is more difficult to roll out something larger, such as a pie crust. The other 2 main benefits of this roller are; the non-stick coating, and it's dishwasher safe. Wood rollers are nice, but they are hand wash only and tend to stick much easier to whatever you're rolling, unless you add copious amounts of flour.All-in-all, I probably wouldn't have ordered this had I known it was a children's rolling pin, but I'm not overly disappointed by my mistake.

Great
Love this. I didn't want a big rolling pin so this is perfect. I use it on my pizza dough and also when I am rolling out my home made bread. Very smooth, easy to clean, and the size makes it easy to store.Update: One year later and I am still use this rolling pin. I still like the size and it rolls easily but the green parts on the ends where the handles attached are starting to separate so it collects dough and such inside the newly formed creases. You can push the green back on but they just separate again. You have to make sure you clean it thoroughly when this happens so you don't contaminate your next dough batch. I took a star off for this but otherwise it still works well.

Small Pin / Happy Baking
I purchased this rolling pin for my sister and had it shipped directly to her. After she opened it, she called me up to thank me for getting her a small rolling pin. I didn't realize this rolling pin is meant for children. My sister was very thankful for this one because the size makes it easier for her to work with, she can have the kids help when she feels up to it, and it doesn't take up very much space in her drawer.

Really nice product
I didn't realize until after I bought it that this rolling pin is intended for children. I'm an average-sized adult, and I don't find it too small. In fact, I appreciate that this rolling pin is light and easy to use.I was looking for something that might stick a little less when rolling out dough, especially dough for crackers. I still have to use a bit of flour to prevent the dough sticking to the rolling pin, but the nonstick surface definitely makes it easier to clean.I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great!
While I am very excited about the idea of real kitchen tools for children, I have to admit that I bought this as a Play-Doh rolling pin. The ones sold to actually use on play dough all stick horribly to the dough, and the pin does not roll independently from the handles, making it much more challenging to use well. Even I found it very difficult to use the made-for-play-dough rolling pins without just having the dough stick horribly and having it be very hard on my hands without the handles being independent from the pin; it was horribly frustrating for my toddler. This has been a fantastic substitute for play!

Received broken item
Poor quality and shame on Amazon packing an item that was broken already. The piece that was missing wasn’t even in the box so that means whoever packed it knew it was broken and sent it anyway. DO NOT BUY NOT WORTH IT.

Here comes a new little baker
This is a great rolling pin that really works and rolls unlike some others I've tried. A little heavy but will do just fine.
