George Washington

I bought this book to read aloud to a 3rd grade class as a guest reader. The illustrations are gorgeous. I had only 15 min as a guest reader, so I couldn't read the entire book to the students. I showed them the illustrations and told them about the text. It worked out.

My 6 year old daughter and I checked this book out 3 months ago from our pubic library. My daughter loves stories about George Washington and after renewing it 3 times she returned the book with tears in her eyes. I just purchased it for her as a Christmas gift. This book contains a lot of educational and fun facts about G.W. and my daughter loves the illustrations! I am so glad I found it on Amazon.

I got this book for my 5th grader for a report. It contains good information, but borders on more juvenile than what I was hoping for.

Excellent book for introducing younger children to George Washington. Fantastic artwork that draws you into reading the book.

Wonderful illustrations! The retelling of the history of George Washington in this book is nicely done and holds my first grader's interest as well as mine. Would recommend this book.

I love Cheryl Harness. Her books are beautiful. The illustrations are dazzling. I bought this for my 7 year old grandson and then went back and ordered another for myself.

I didn't read the whole book to my kindergarten class, but the illustrations were gorgeous. The kids look at this book on their own just for the illustrations.
