4mm 110Y Macrame Cord Rope -1/6inch Single Strand White Macrame Cotton String for Handemade Wall Hanging Weaving Basketry Crochet and Tapestry (3mm-100m (110yd))

This used the be my favorite 4mm natural single strand cord. It had long, thin fibers twisted together which made it super soft and luscious. It had a lot of substance to it which made my macrame pieces look scrumptious and high end. But this last time I ordered the 4mm natural single strand cord I was pretty disappointed. There’s definitely much less substance to the cord I recently got and there are black specks throughout the entire roll. I’m assuming these black specks are mildew? Not sure, but it looks terrible and it even smells kind of weird. With that being said, it’s not the worst cord in the world it’s just not as good as the previous 4mm natural single strand cords I’ve gotten from Floravogue in the past. Ultimately, I most likely will order this cord again. Hopefully, I just received a roll from a bad batch.On the other hand, Floravogue 4mm single strand colored cords are amazing! They have been true to color every time I’ve purchased and they are super soft and luscious. They hold up well and keep their shape when tying knots. I love the variety of color options they provide as well.So, finally, thank you for the great single strand cords Floravogue but can you guys please figure out what has gone wrong with the 4 mm natural single strand please?

I just started getting into macramé projects but I’ve always been a crafty person so this isn't the first time I’ve used this kind of material. I do lots and lots of research about things before I buy them for weeks even something as simple as this rope and this is by far the best choice. I chose the single strand over the braided rope because I like the look of it a little bit more, it looks smoother and it definitely has a softer texture. I absolutely love this though the entire spool was all one string which I’ve read reviews on other products that are similar and a lot of people are disappointed that they end up getting it and it’s cut into multiple pieces so even though I ended up cutting it into strands for my project it’s nice to know I can choose the length it’s not just cut wherever they felt like running out. It’s very durable it hasn’t come untwisted even with lots or handling. I like the natural color, it’s an off white so you can tell its not bleached. I’ll have to update this post with pictures of the project once I’m finished but I already ordered three more spools one more in the 3 mm and two of the 4 mm just so I can stock up and I won’t have to buy a different brand I don’t like!! Please don’t ever run out you guys are the best!!

I will buy this cord again, and again, and again! I've purchased and used several different brands and types of macrame cord and this is by far my favorite! It's SO soft! An absolute pleasure to work with. As I've shown in the photo, it brushes out beautifully.

This was one of my first brands I purchased from when I started macrame and boy did it spoil me! I have tried a multitude of brands after purchasing from Floravogue to test what other companies produced and I haven't found one I like more. This is truly 1 STRAND. I have had many issues where the company claims it's one strand, and it's really a 4-ply.It's so incredibly soft, a beautiful color and (99% of the time) is clean on the cord. A very occasional spot but nothing too serious.Lastly, I have ordered a few different skeins of this product and have always had 1 continuous cord.In Summary:Pros:Is a true 1-strand cord. Not a 3 or 4 ply.Is so incredibly soft. The softest cord I have felt to dateContinuous on the skeinBeautiful color with very little to no contamination of other colors on the cordNeutral :Can be difficult to brush out for tassels, but this is more due to the nature of a 1 stranded cord rather than the product itself.The 3 mm seems a bit thin when I compare to other 3mm I have used, but when checking on a ruler it looked accurate.Cons :The 4mm IS pretty thick as others have mentioned. Which may be a bad thing if it bothers you.

I like the cord, it’s really soft to the touch. I ordered wheat color and Ash. Wheat is nice color, exactly that I was exciting but Ash which advertised as a light gray in person actually looks a little light gray with bluish/icy hew, which was disappointing for me because I had a deadline for the product and when I opened a cord it looked very pale light gray, but when I finished the macrame leave it looked pale blue, it’s hard to explain but you are not getting a simple light gray cord. But overall it’s a good cord.

I wanted to get into Macrame and learned that I have a sensory processing disorder around the same time I originally started. The material made my skin crawl and sent me into a panic attack..... I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS BRAND!!!!This is the SOFTEST material I have found thus far!! Yes, other reviews mention how easily this unravels, and they're right. HOWEVER, it is incredibly easy to stop it! I added tape to the ends and it hasn't unraveled since! 10/10 recommend!! I'm going to buy this in every color! 🤩🥰

I love this cord. I used it to make a little plant hanger as a gift for my friend, and it turned out so cute. I usually use a 3-ply rope type of cord but I wanted to switch it up. It isn't stiff like a lot of other cords, so it may not work the best for projects that require it to hold a shape. It is super soft and malleable, but it is still very strong and works beautifully for plant hangers and other hanging projects. It also dyes really well in case you like to dye your own cords. I find that creates a more professional and stylish end product than other types of cording that I have used.
