Great seller. Item was very well packaged for safe transit. Used condition as noted but great shape for its age. It's the real book not a photo copy like other sellers. Incredible reference book for historical fashions.

A great addition to my reference​ books.

so many patterns form so many eras. not for for the beginning stitcher. advanced sewing for period correct reconstructed garments.

I found a copy of The Cut Of Women's Clothes 1600-1930 at my local library and fell in love.I ordered this book because of the pricing. The book took two weeks to arrive. I had to contact the seller for a tracking number as one was not provided at first.You get what you pay for I guess. It is nothing more than a poor photo copy version. The pictures have no clarity of detail.Where as the library book drew me in, this one put me off. The book is still full of information, and funny excerpts from timely writings, it is just presented in a 1980's copy machine quality way.

I have had "The Cut of Men's Clothes", by the same author, for years. This book is even better. It has every pattern diagram I was looking for.

This book was a gift for my daughter-in-law and she loves it. She is into sewing and history of clothing and is enjoying it very much

great for those wanting to know how to construct historical patterns and have basic draping on the stand knowledge. Very in-depth information on the spanning periods. This is good for those who have intermediate-advanced knowledge of construction and pattern drafting

This an excellent book as contains historical information as well as basic patterns from each period. It is an excellent resource for anyone interested in period costumes.
