I have used shea butter to moisturize my very dry legs for several years. It is the best natural substance I have found for this purpose. I have tried many different brands, some costing more than $50 for a few ounces. This brand, Okay African Shea Body Butter, is by far the best value. While it is not pure white, as the high end brands say, or whipped to a frothy consistency like some, its effectiveness is just as good. The pale off-white/gray color is not offensive. And the shea butter softens as soon as you rub it. This is a great moisturizer for extremely dry skin, as long as you don't mind being a bit slippery for a while. I highly recommend it.

I’ve purchased it before and it was a nice smooth consistency. This time around though it was really gritty and sandy. I loved the smooth consistency I had before, but not so much this one. I believe they have some batch inconsistencies which is something to be aware of if purchasing
