Dr. Keith Drury has a unique way of presenting the Truth of the Word, both in his writing and speaking. To read what he has to say about a subject is just about the way you would hear him say it. This book is both full of truth, and information, but also has spots of humor which keeps your attention on what could be a very dull subject. He makes you think. I highly recommend this book to every adult Sunday School Class or Small Study Group Great doundational truth!

Christian theology can get very deep very fast. This books doesn't skimp on what you need to know, but doesn't get so "deep" that you get lost either. I'm not a Ph. D. candidate, but am a student of my faith, and this book has helped me tremendously. If you are a Christian, or someone who wants to know more about the foundations of Christianity, this book is a good choice.

I taught Senior High School Sunday School on the Creed. Even at a Baptist church, I felt they needed to be exposed to the breadth of Christian belief. The Creed does that. And Common Ground does a good job of walking through every line - and even providing some provocative questions and points. As much as I love it though, I felt the first half of the book (and therefore the creed) was gripping and profound, while the second half was rushed and weak. I am glad I bought it.

The book was in pretty good shape, but the only problem is that it was super dirty on the back. Looks like someone dropped it in the mud. Otherwise, the book is in pretty decent shape.

Amazingly simple and digestible provocative presentation of years of theological and doctrinal research that every believer should read and preachers should preach from.

This is a great book to cover the basic doctrines of the church. Great for new and old believers. Good overview of the Apostle's Creed.
