RothcoMen's Lightweight Shemagh Tactical Desert Scarves

OK so l own multiple shamaghs. # of which came directly from Afghanistan. These three are very light weight and breathable. Perfect for desert heat and dust storms. Very breathable and somewhat see through. I decided to purchase a couple others previously in different colors as possible gifts. They were very thick and more for winter or cold weather conditions. I decided to give this one a shot and shazam, it's light weight and large. I was looking for that combination. Though not as soft as the afghani ones but quality. They do work for cold weather as they are fairly large and can wrap around the neck a few times. I highly recommend the Rothco "Lightweght" ones as some are a bit heavier. I did wash it twice and always air dry to soften it up and maintain its original size and structure.

Good product, it's been through a couple of washes and it's holding up nicely, though I do hang dry it.

I travel frequently for business and this is a great piece of lightweight gear to give you that added bit of warmth on a blustery day. It is also good if you need to catch a nap on an airplane. The traditional head and neck tie blocks out light so you can snooze. Alternatively in a window seat, it can be folded into a pillow to cushion your noggin from the airplane wall. If you are a "Hitchhikers Guide" fan, this is very nearly the towel with endless uses. Cleaning up spills, an arm sling, bandage, tourniquet, you name it.

Product came quickly and was in good condition other than a few minor flaws in the weave. This will be great to keep the sun off of my neck while hiking. A good product for the price.

Satisfied with this scarf, but in a surprising way. The intention and order was for a grey/black scarf. Based on the label (first photo), that's clearly what was received. However, upon taking the scarf out of the plastic, it had a dark sky blue hue to it. Ok, that's weird. But the more I considered it, that is what I wanted! I looked at the blue/black version as well, but thought the blue was too bright. This scarf fits the bill perfectly. It's blue-grey/black, even after hand washing (photos 2 and 3).I appreciate the 42"x42" size as well; most companies run them a bit smaller, this is a great fit for me. All told, happy with size AND color. Thanks for the surprise!

Way more than adequate for shielding my head and neck from a 110 degree California sun at our club's dusty range. I'm pretty sure it'll work well against the coming winter cold. I washed in cold water, delicate cycle, then line-dried before I started wearing. No noticeable shrinkage. Smells good. Feels cotton-soft. What more can I ask for? I'll probably order again, if not for me in a different color/pattern, as a gift/s.

Very poor quality with loose threads. So thin I could see through it. I wanted a refund but when I tried it told me I don’t qualify for a refund. When through Amazon customer service and was they sent a message to the seller. The seller said to go through Amazon for a refund. Tried again and it stopped me saying I don’t qualify for a refund. I’m giving up and losing the money. This thing isn’t worth donating. No more third party sellers!
