They look great and do their job. However, they arent non skid.

Thought they would be heavier.

These are not the cheap lightweight bookends I'm used to seeing. I was happily surprised at the size and weight. Perfect for larger books or long rows of many books!

I bought these to use at work. I handle material that has to be kept in a neat pile for drilling. These keep the material nice and tidy. I use four of them. Two for back stops, and two for keeping the sides straight. The long sides go under boards so they don’t move and the short sides are the perfect height for what I need. They don’t bend easy which is perfect. I highly recommend these bookends!

Book ends are as expected, except I was under the impression there would be little grippy things on the bottom. Without the grippy things, they are more prone to sliding with paperback textbooks. Smaller novel-sized books are fine, does not slide. Have not tried with hardcover textbooks but I’d imagine they work just fine because those books tend to stand on their own very well.

I was expecting a sturdier book end. They are only nonskid when you add weight to the bookend. These work great for books under 12 inches, but for book 12 inches and over, these don't work as well as I had hoped. I expect these would be perfect for children's books, but not for a shelf full of larger books. I split the books into 2 sections, and that solved the problem.

I bought these for metal at perfect right angles as something to attach magnets to when setting up miniature room sets. They work perfectly for that. I don't know how they do as bookends.

Great product for the price! It came with 2 sets as promised, shipping was fast and they did exactly what they were meant to do which was hold up my books.
