Low quality mechanics, power meter incorrectly calibrated or defective.
Arrived quickly, this is probably the only plus so far.Included SC adapter would not screw onto the port. Seems to be combination of adapter thread problem/low quality and OTDR port that is mechanically not well machined. Had to get a different SC adapter and was finally able to screw it onto OTDR port but it really took an effort. Power adapter cable would not stay plugged into the case - falls out of the OTDR case when connected to charge the battery, again low quality manufacturing of the inside power port on the OTDR.I can't yet comment on the quality of OTDR measurements as still investigating readings I've got so far.
