Rechargeable Personal Ear Amplifier 50dB

The first thing I noticed about this aid/amplifier was the unique design with the microphone projecting out on it's own pod. I reasoned that someone had gone to a lot of thought in designing it that way. I did a google search on it and found that it had it's own website. infiniear.com. so I bought it and it arrived about 5 days later.It has been the best hearing aid/amplifier I have ever purchased. The unique microphone design eliminates the hollow sound so common with these devices and I have four other aids, all disapointing. Also, I don't like aids that try to hide inside your ear. This aid doesn't hide. It's also the only aid I have that I can use to watch TV with.I wear it like in the pix at the top of this page. It fits in my ear and is quite secure. I did have to trim the provided earpiece a tad because it was slightly too long. Putting it in and taking it out is very easy...no fumbling around.The charging module is interesting. You can charge it using a wall wart or insert a AA battery in the base. It even has it's own built-in AA battery tester. I use it about 2-3 hours a day and it has never taken more than 15-20 minutes to recharge. Rechargeable is the way to go because you don't have to keep fiddling with the volume level.

It fits my need. The rechargeable battery is lasting 14+ hours. It is more comfortable than expected. For the price it gets a thumbs up. The only negative is my family now calls me "Bolt".

Have only used indoors so far. Amplifies sound well. Doesn’t filter out ambient noise. Constantly sounds like you are in an echo-y chamber. Also nothing in description of product indicated whether there was 1 or 2 hearing aids. Only came with 1. One size fits most. Decent for the price if you can live with the things mentioned above

Helps a little but also increases background noise.Amplifies all frequencies but NOT specific higher frequencies associated with tinnitus.Good product for the price.

This product is utter trash. Firstly the aid is too big to fit the ear, half of it sticks out like a dead maggot. Secondly all you can hear is the sound of rushing air, it amplifies nothing at all. Then 8 hours charging gives just 20 minutes usage. Avoid this trash at all costs.

Bought this for my 81 year ol mother. She was about to pay $700 at a hearing store.This is fantastic. I can talk from another room... No more lip reading. Great investment !

Cost is great, but you get a lower quality aid

I like the rechargeable amplifier because the battery ones go thru batteries extremely fast. Also,, I can turn it off & on whenever I need to hear what I need to hear better.
