Flour Sack Towels Bulk-30"X30" White (Pack of 6)

I have not washed or used these yet. I will be embroidering on them. I think they will work great!!

These towels are great but the listing clearly states you are purchasing a pack of towels. I only received individual towels. $8 for a single towel no matter how good they are is simply ridiculous.

My one big complaint: these are impregnated with a stiffening agent at the factory...so they aren't absorbent straight out of the gate. It took me two launderings to get them ready for prime time.Though larger than other flour sack towels on Amazon, these will lose a couple of inches in washing. But they're still huge and have enough surface area to cover your biggest proofing bowl.They are slightly off-white, which is not a concern for me...I'm drying dishes and wiping up spills with them. They could be neon pink and I wouldn't care. But if you keep your kitchen towels in view and like the crisp white flour sack look, you won't be thrilled with these.

If they shrink after washing & drying I not sure Have not gotten that far. If that happens it will be smaller.They are list as 6 in a pk. You get ONLY ONE NOT 6Now The color I listed this last because it was not as important as the other two issue The color is not white maybe in the family of white but it is more of a light beige.I found all of these issues a problem I need and order these because of the SIZE 30X30 the pack of 6 and the price which 10. some change, It did say white and being an off white was a disappointment after contact the seller the answers provider were just wrong sold as a unit huh what is that I have never heard of towels a unit but irregardless a pk. of 6 means just that 6 (1,2,3,4,5,6) total Never buy nothing from this seller I did request my money back and I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. May you will have better luck. Not for me

These towels are great for using as a placemat for our large, almost toothless dogs that fling food and water when they eat. I was using a bath towel to catch the water drips and food slobber, but I was having to wash them almost daily because ants were finding the food partials the dogs were leaving behind in the towel loops. I now place a tea towel over the bath towel, just below their dishes, and I can easily change them when soiled. I also put a piece of plexi-glass behind their bowls to protect the walls from their slobber.These towels are nice quality - much thicker than the ones from our local Wal-Mart, and are a great size. I used one to dry some dishes, and they were very absorbent, and the towel dried within a few hours after hanging it up.I highly recommend these towels!

These are great towels! I use these for drying dishes, and kitchen cleanups. They are lint free so the leave nothing on my glassware, and they are very absorbent after one washing. They have to be washed once before using, without fabric softener, otherwise they don't absorb as well. Once they've been washed, they're fabulous! This is my third set of these towels, and the new ones are just as good as the previous ones.Because these towels are cotton, they will shrink from the 30"x30" size to about 28"x28", which is still quite large enough.They are thicker and more tightly woven than cheesecloth, and hold upvery well. Some of the best towels I've ever used.One semi-negative note-The first shipment I received contained only one towel. I called Amazon customer service and they sent out another set right away and told me to keep the original one. So I got one extra towel for the inconvenience.

Three star because they are very large, which is great. However, for lack of absorbency, which is the most important quality you want in a dish towel, they get a 2-star. I have flour sack towels from 10+ years ago that I purchased in a kitchen store that I love because they are wonderfully absorbent. I thought these on Amazon would be just as absorbent since they are cotton--nope.

Really high quality towels. Had previously purchased flour sack towels from Target and these are much higher quality and less expensive. A must-have for anyone looking for spot free glassware or silverware. Once you use a flour sack towel, you will never go back to regular kitchen towels again! They are very stiff out of the package, but even after only one wash they are amazing to dry with, and will get softer with every wash!
