This did not irritate my scalp but you may want to do a patch test if you try it. Sometimes people have reactions to essential oils but fortunately I've always been fine with this oil. I've heard eucalyptus oil can help with hair growth and some people put a few drops in their deep conditioner and leave it on for a while. I can see why people do that to keep lice away!
