Medium Clay Smooth Tobacco Pipe 7" Inch Colonial Gouda Clay Pipe

I read a lot of old seafaring stories from history and was consequently looking for a clay pipe. I checked on Amazon and selected this one after reading several reviews. It arrived in one day, well and safely packed in a cardboard box with wood chips. It was easy to bow the chips from the inside to clean it out. As expected, it's fragile. I love it. It looks great.

Excellent package & shipped fast.I wanted to try a pipe design that stayed the same for 3-4 hundred years. It is indeed a function 1st pipe design with very generous draw.The smoke cools very well & its only drawback is I dare not carry it further than my smoking room at home.I'm just a fan of the way things are made when function is the main concern. Works a treat as they say.

This looks great! Smooth, white clay. It was to replace a really long one we bought at a church sale that had broken. I thought this one would be the same, but it's smaller, but very decorative. I had to contact the seller, I guess the first one they sent was lost, but they were very nice and quickly sent out this one! I'm very happy! They're a great company to do business with! I highly recommend!

This is a wonderful, functional clay pipe. I have one just like it and had some friends that I bought these for. They love them. It's about 5" long and colors well after a few smokes. If my current clay pipe breaks I will be purchasing another one of these.

This pipe is a lot thinner than I expected. this is not a pipe to carry with you anywhere, it feels like it would break very easily. The pipe I got had chunks of wood stuck in the stem, but I was able to get them out with a stiff pipe cleaner. It does get hot, but that was expected. Overall I really like this pipe, just make sure to run a pipe cleaner through it before smoking to make sure the stem is clean.

The product came on time and in safe packaging, however the quality is lacking. The edge of the bowl is jagged and knife edged. Almost like it chipped coming out of the mold. Also it would be nice if the bowl was a little thicker all around. But the stem is a good size and length and it has a nice generous draw. If they can get there quality a little more uniform I would certainly like to buy more. As it stands I will have to make do with my others for the time being.

I ordered this pipe as a replacement for a clay pipe that accidentally broke. I use it for historical reenactments, museum programs, and volunteering at State Historic sites. It's a good pipe, a long enough stem for a smoother and cooler smoke, a large draw, good quality. Since good clay pipes are hard to find, I am sure I'll be buying another of these soon. You won't regret this purchase!
