Made for metal !
Sounds mean, looks mean! They haven't made these in years. I was lucky enough to get one new from the seller on Amazon. Quality of the Chinese made guitars can vary, though mine seems fine.

Wicked fast and sounds wonderful!
Best guitar in the stable next to my 1983 washburn G-20V. Mine has a Floyd bridge instead of the stop tail but I found a stop tail for $100 on Guitar Center's web site. It all evens out because I paid full price for a new one, ($789) & almost nothing for a used one. I later found out that the price tag was for another Washie but they still let me have it for that price. I usaly hate GC but I was lovin on em that day. The pickups in these and my Renagade were made by Randall and god do they sound TOUGH!!!! I took the pups out of the Renagade and put them in a crappy Jackson and now my Jackson RR 2 sounds mean as heck. These guitars are worth a lot more that the asking price and it makes me angry to know that they were discontinued for Parallax. DON'T GET A PARALLEX!!!! The Stevens Cutaway bolt ons are ok but they feel super cheap. The pups are in my way when I pick and it's impossible to keep in tune for me because of my playing style. I've NEVER had that problem with an HM series guitar. I think it's something to do with the necks because they all have Buzz tuning.
