GiobertiMen's Waterproof Rain Jacket With Mesh Lining and Carrying Bag

I purchased this as a gift. I had shopped around at local stores and found the quality to be lacking and the prices to be outrageous. I decided to try my luck on Amazon. This jacket checked all the boxes for my Dad - lightweight, zipper, pockets and a dark color. I purchased a large in gray. I included his details for reference: He’s 5’10” with a 32” waist. I bought a large. It fits him well with room to spare.I would absolutely order it again. He’s hard on everything so I’m sure he’ll need a new one in sooner than later. I won’t hesitate to repurchase. These are a good value for the price and the quality is excellent for a light weight jacket. I actually think it’s nicer than the big brands carried by local retailers.

I purchased this Gioberti Men's Waterproof Rain Jacket for a reason - I live in a rainy place - Washington State - and having different rain jackets for the different types of rain is just a good idea. I have worn this jacket in mild to light rain, and it has been perfect. It is light-weight, and with the adjustment strings for the hood, and the velcro in the sleeves and zipper area, it is a good wind-breaker, also. The orange color was a selling point for me also - I walk a lot on rural roads and countryside, so I want cars and hunters to see me. So far I have had no problems whatsoever with this jacket, which is not often the case with budget rain jackets. The velcro is well-placed and effective, and the skin seems durable. All in all, a jacket I would purchase again, and probably will . . .

The quality of this jacket appears to be very nice. The sizing is accurate; I normally wear a Large but ordered the Medium after reading reviews stating that the jacket runs large. The jacket is a bit tight, but the sleeve length is perfect. I live in Florida and ordered the jacket for a summer hiking trip in the grand canyon. If I wore heavier clothing, the jacket would not fit; I will be dressing light so will probably just keep this size. I like that the zipper is on the correct side for Men unlike some of the other jackets I was looking at. The lining is quite nice, but the jacket is warm. It doesnt breath much but should do a good job of keeping the water off. I will follow up after testing the rain proof capability. The sleeves have nice velcro that will adjust to your wrist size. The jacket also has velcro along the zipper which makes it easier to fold and store without having to zip it up. I don't believe that it folds into a pocket, but it does include a nice mesh bag for storage.

Looks good, fits as expected. Size M 5'7 & 180 lbs.As others have notated, the bottom of the jacket does seem a little snug when zipped, but I think it will be okay like that. If you prefer a baggy, boxy fitting/looking bottom a size larger than usual is probably better for you. Sleeve length was good. The feel & look of the outer shell is nice & as expected of waterproof material. The inner lining feels warm even though the overall weight of the jacket is rather light so it will work well for the hiking excursion. I haven't tested the waterproofness of it yet, but if it rains in the first week of August while this jacket is being used, I will return to update the results.

I really like this jacket, but the zipper broke almost immediately.

Did it's job while on tour in Alaska repelled rain and helped block the cold wind. Good value and product..
