Safety Dax Fifty 50 Full Brim Carbon Fiber Hardhat, Orange

It's a little bit heavier than normal hard hat. But it's because of the extra support. It's made of carbon fiber. Lot safer to have one of these than a regular hard hat. My husband loves it. He works in construction and said, "I love it! It's sturdier, harder, you can really tell the difference between a regular hard hat and this hard hat." It's taken a lot of hits since I bought it for him and compared to the hard hat he purchased in a store, a week before, you can really see the difference in the quality of the product.

Delivered exactly how it was described and I got a better deal on Amazon and faster shipping then if I went directly through Lift. I wasn’t super thrilled with spending this kind of money on a hard hat but would definitely say it was worth the money. I’ve been using it for a month and it’s held up great, super comfortable, and way cooler for your head being in the sun all day then a regular hat like an MSA plastic one.

Barely feel it on your head. I have recommended to all my co workers and at least one has bought one and agrees!

I have a BIG head, finding a hard hat that didn’t squeeze my head was a challenge. The Lift hard hat at first pinched the sides of my head, but I realized I could adjust the fit by adjusting the suspension system. Once I adjusted the suspension system the hat fits great, no more squeeze. It feels secure, no worries of falling off, it looks super bad a**, and I can wear it all day

I love the light weight on this. The cradle is very comfortable. I usually use a sock to protect my hair for getting pulled, don’t have to worry about it with this, but will still use a sock in the summer for sweat. That is probably the only thing that could be a bit better is the sweat band…or rather the lack there of.

Description says orange but the picture is red and the seller states in the questions that they are in fact red. Mine came in today October 6th 2022 and it was orange. Very misleading.

Nothing to dislike. Had to hire an armed guard so it don’t get stolen.

Ordered this for my husband and within 3 weeks the top of the orange had significantly faded color, you could see the white base through it. It is very light weight, but the harness inside is not adjustable and is sewn too tight so it sits very high on your head. Abnormally high. The manufacturer is a hassle to work out the warranty with and want you to go through Amazon. They never have sufficient stock, and I suspect its not because its in high demand, but because they have to keep replacing them. Since it showed its true colors in less than a month as a cheaply made product for a quality products price it promptly was returned. Update, after having one of these replaced and even ordering from a different website due to stock issues they have continuously been poor quality. As one picture shows, there are air bubbles in the paint. The other two faded pictures were taken after 3 weeks of part time wear inside. I say part time because my husband uses this one for when he has a light day of reading blue prints, interacting with the site manager, safety inspector, etc,. He wears a normal hard had if he needs to do hands on work, simply because these are so fragile they chip and scratch over nothing, in addition to fading. The hat continued to fade even more and has very little orange color left by the time he stopped using it, roughly 3months. Lift tried to make excuses saying that the first was a fluke due to a poor paint formulation and they changed it, but thats a joke bc they all faded. Then Lift tried to say its not made to wear in the sun! LMFAO, well as I mentioned he's inside. I guess its those damn florescent lights doing it;-). Again overly priced for what it is, knowing what I know now, its not even worth $30.
