When our previous doggy went to heaven, we rescued a much larger dog. We wanted to use the same vibrating collar as before, but it was too short. We purchased this to use with the old collar.PROS:1- durable2- waterproof3- can cut shorter if needed with no fraying.4- Fit threaded through the vibrating collar.CONS:Can’t think of any!!This was purchase with my own money. This is a nice size collar fits my female French mastiff comfortably loose on the last hole. I don’t like to bunch up her wrinkles. She really only uses it for the reflexive strip. Our other dog has long hair and wears them for his fence and training collar receivers. It fits 2 different styles and does not seem to mat his hair and being rubber with all the holes when he gets wet it allows his neck to dry quickly and not become gross like a nylon collar would. The pink color on the first did fade on the short hair dog after about a year but the reflective strip was still going strong.

The vendor advertises these collars as suitable as replacements for those that accompany collars that come with Dogtra, Tritronics, etc devices EXCEPT that typical electronic training device collars are ONE inch wide and not 3/4" wide as these collars actually are. Of course a 3/4" wide collar will fit a 1" wide opening - but the narrower collar will NOT provide as secure a fit and further, due to width, a 3/4" wide collar will be less comfortable on the dog. I can use these collars for other purposes so I'll not return them but anyone who orders these as replacements for collars that typically come with electronic training devices will be disappointed on account of width.

Originally, we put the training device on a regular collar, but I saw this and thought it would be easier. Not so much. One, the material is very slippery. Two, if your dog is smaller and in between the hole sizes, its more difficult to get it to fit. Three, when our dog scratched, he was able to move the collar by catching his nails in the holes (quite easily, which was shocking). As I stated, my husband stated, from the start, he hated it: the texture, the way the trainer slid around on it, everything. After a few weeks, I gave in and put it back on a regular collar. It's a great idea in theory, but it didn't work out for us.

The instructions and functions of this collar are user friendly. I love the fact that in training my dog, I have not had to use more than the vibration or tone to get her attention and stop unwanted behavior. The rounded and rubber coated probes are more comfortable for the dog than the typical bare metal points in other collars. This collar is much more flexible than the previous collars I have used with other dogs. And the price is more than reasonable. I highly recommend this collar.

This is the third collar I have purchased. My dog scratched right through the outer plastic covering, not a big deal since the inner material is really strong, but it does make it hard to fasten. I have bought other brand collars that were cheaper but didn't work as well. I will stick with these.

I can’t imagine that the wholesale price is over a dollar. It is a perfect replacement for the collar that came with the device. I cut the first one too short and my puppy grew into a dog. Expensive lesson.

I have German shorthairs that hunt and live on 40 acres so they’re super rough on things. The reflective strips do eventually fall off and the collar does get rough after several months, but that’s with all collars. These fit my e-collars perfectly!

J’ai commandé ce collier pour remplacer le collier sur mon dispositif de dressage. Malheureusement la taille est trop petite et il glisse sur le collier ce qui le rends inutile pour mon chien.Je demande le remboursement pour erreur de taille dans l’idée de renvoyer le collier au vendeur et d’être remboursée à la réception par celui-ci.Je n’ai même pas eu le temps de d’avoir une réponse à ma demande de retour que je reçois un message du vendeur qui m’insulte de voleuse et que cette erreur est injuste parce que la taille est inscrite dans la description.Il y a des gens avec de bonnes manières qui estiment qu’elles n’ont pas à garder un produit pour lequel elle obtiennent un remboursement et qui leur est totalement inutile de toute façon, mais vous revoyez les vôtres de bonnes manières.Le retour est totalement à mes frais
