I'm Just Starting To Learn
I bought a Alto Saxopone for a price that I never thought possible. The quality of the instrument is higher then the price, which is a pleasant surprise -(Available on Amazon: Eastar AS-II. It has good reviews, along with a couple other imported saxophones). It came with a similar mouth piece, (I never realized that there could be so many differences in mouth pieces), however the same pros who recommend the Sax, also recommended switching to this Yamaha mouthpiece. They indicated it's a quality mouthpiece that is both good to learn on and could really be the mouthpiece you keep for life, even though it's very affordable!I'm just starting to learn, but this is one more thing I don't have to think twice about and I like good advice from Pros!

Very affordable
I used this mouthpiece for a couple of years. You get a pretty good mouthpiece for the price. It is very affordable and lasts long enough. The only thing I had trouble with was playing my high notes (with palm keys) since they take me some time to come out, they still don't sound right. I found that with a higher quality mouthpiece, my high notes came out immediately and sounded so much better. This mouthpiece is still great for a beginner or if you can't afford a more expensive mouthpiece so I would definitely recommend.

Cheap upgrade
I am fairly new to the sax and I bought one of the cheap Eastar $200 altos. I won't knock my Eastar, I LOVE that in 2023 there's such a thing as a $200 saxophone (didn't exist when I was a kid), but I COULD NOT hit those altissimo notes! Obviously I assumed it was because I was a beginner and I needed to practice my embouchure, and I could hit a very squeaky high F# maybe 30% of the time (the lowest altissimo note). It's been a couple months now and I was starting to get the feeling that the problem wasn't me, it was the hardware. I just got this Yamaha 4C in the mail today, plugged it onto my cheap sax, and hit a perfect high F# first try! I swapped back and forth between the mouthpieces and the Yamaha notes sound noticeably smoother and clearer.TLDR: If you've got a cheap sax then this is a cheap way to instantly improve your playing.

Great Mouthpiece for Beginners
It's a great mouthpiece for beginners. I bought this for my son when he first started using a saxophone about two years ago, and he is still using it to this day. If taken care of, this mouthpiece can last a very long time. It is durable, and my son has progressed in his saxophone skills and ability with this mouthpiece.
