A Novel of a Bears Need
Awesome! Just awesome!A novel to boit! This had potential to be a series but of course lets not mess with perfection.Emotionally gripping with a plot that holds you captive. The drama, sadness and hate of a community that just never asked, but assumed and let fear distroy a young woman's life.Strong heroine and even stronger heart.Loved it! Grab a box of tissue and try not to yell at your ereader.Awesome T!

Coveted by the Bear
I really enjoyed this book. Mira had been through so much in her young life. The whole town thought her crazy but she really wasn't. Caleb was just what she needed. He brought her out of the shadows. She was what he needed as well. She didn't just save his life but she saved him. Such a good book!

Good read but could have been great
This story was very different than most of TS Joyce's stories. As a standalone novel, it weaved me into the story instantly and I found it to be much more emotional that her typical bear shifter novels. That being said, I felt the fact that it involved bear shifters was mostly irrelevant and this could just as easily have been your standard romance novel. Overall, I enjoyed the story quite a bit, but this had the makings to be an epic and significantly longer story than what we had since there are many loose ends that were not tied up.Caleb at 23, is a wealthy second son of a prominent business man in a very small town. He finds himself oddly fascinated by the mysterious "Crazy Mira". No one knows much about this odd girl, except that she talks to herself, is skittish beyond compare, won't make eye contact, is dirt poor, and suspected to be a witch. This is not your town for understanding and compassion and the townspeople, including the Sherriff revile Mira. Mira is an extremely intelligent and witty girl of 20 who's had about the hardest life imaginable. She keeps her secrets and doesn't speak to anyone, but when she finds a dying Caleb on her property after a bear attack, she rescues him which entwines their lives irrevocably. The pace is steady and revelations are unveiled, but overall, there's chapters that could have been included to explain things more cohesively. Supporting characters are great creating happiness along with strife throughout the tale, but the climax is quick and the loose ends are never explained. Many people's actions go unpunished or unresolved, leaving you without a sense of satisfaction. The fact that Caleb is now a bear shifter isn't truly explored either, making it a fact of the story, but not an integral part of it. Regardless, I read it all in a single sitting and would certainly enjoy reading more about this particular universe.

intense, suspenseful, and thrilling
This book has minimal smut and those scenes don’t have much detailHOWEVER, this was an exhilarating book. The plot, the slow trickling of backstory, the deep emotional connections the leads create is all absolutely beautifully done. I feel for the female lead, everything she is willing to do in order to survive is awe inspiring and I spent almost the entire book just hoping something good came her way. So tenacious, protective, and self reliant. The epilogue makes some large leaps leaving gaps in certain plot line, which is why I rated four out of five

Safe Haven!!!
Caleb McCreedy didn't like how Mira Fletcher made him feel, everyone in town called her "Crazy Mira" and that pissed him off sure it never bothered him before but for some reason now it did. When Caleb tried to help Mira out and the latter refused his help, he said some things that he regretted the moment the words were spoken. One day as Mira was going hunting cause she didn't dared go back into town after her run in with Caleb, the former found the latter wounded on her land. He had been attacked by a bear shifter and left for dead, Mira shot Caleb's attacker and helped Caleb out.Caleb wanted to help Mira live a better life and he also wanted to repay her for taking care of him when he was wounded but being the independent woman that she was Mira didn't want his help but she finally decided to take it when he wouldn't give up....Loved the dynamic between them.Mira told Caleb about his attacker being a bear shifter but he didn't believe her until the first time he changed......Mira was the only person Caleb could share his secret with, his bear chose her as his mate.Mira was a beautiful soul, loved her sense of humor despite all she went through she was a survivor as well as Caleb, they were a match made in heaven...The interaction between Mira and Caleb's family was perfectly done, liked how she and Sadey instantly became friends.Mira proved them all that she didn't need nor want their help, she found a job on her own and went on with her life cause if Caleb didn't want to be apart of it she sure wasn't going to force him....But what Caleb didn't expect was that he would lose his heart to Mira. The scars they both had were proof that they were survivors......Coveted By The Bear had me hooked from the first page until the last one, it's a must read.

Fantastic read
This is a completely standalone book which a little different for T.S. Joyce. Mira is thought to be crazy by the whole town. Unfortunately, nobody in town even really knows Mira or bothers to talk to her at all. Caleb is out in woods when he attacked by a bear. Mira finds him and kills the bear. Caleb’s whole life is about to change. Mira knows he wasn’t attacked by a regular bear but a bear-man. She tries to tell him but he just thinks she is crazy like everyone else. Caleb pays his debts thought. He owes Mira for saving his life or at least that’s how things start. It doesn’t take long for Caleb to begin to feel different. His bear has formed an attachment. Caleb must find his way in his new life. He can’t let anyone he knows besides Mira know that he is a bear-man now. This book has lots of twists and turns and not just for Caleb. Mira gains so much with Caleb’s help but she also forms an attachment to Caleb. Could there be anything between them besides a debt being repaid? I love this book and I can’t say enough about it. I would love to read more about these characters but I don’t see that happening. I look forward to reading more books by T.S. Joyce.

A Great Standalone Paranormal Romance That Had Me Hooked.
I've only read a couple of stories by T. S. Joyce but she is fast becoming a favourite author. I find her writing style very easy to read, I love the characters she creates and always enjoy her plot-lines - her stories have all the aspects that I expect in a paranormal romance: the conflict, the romance, the passion and the happy ever after ending.I enjoyed meeting both our heroine, extraordinarily resilient Kira Fletcher and Caleb MacCreedy our all-American hero and quickly became completely invested in their story. This is a standalone tale that I devoured. I love that experienced so many emotions while reading it; I found myself holding my breath during some very fraught scenes, tears trickled down my cheeks on more than a few occasions reading some beautifully touching scenes, I smiled and was chuckling out loud at some wonderful humour, the romantic gestures made me go all mushy and the sex scenes got me all pink faced and tingly.

Wow
Although this book starts off slowly after halfway I really got into it and found it very hard to put down even while blubbering like an idiot. Caleb was human until he got turned by an old bear shifter he managed to make it to her property, the one the town called Crazy Mira, she saves his life and slowly they fall for each other. However things ain't so easy for them. Between his family the town and Miras past can the couple last read this book to find out

As always brilliant
Another truly wonderful story from my favourite author of shifter romance, characters you cannot help falling in love with, danger, some humour and of course a HEA. No spoilers here, but if you are a fan of this genre give it a read.

Great book
Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.
