Good specced kit for the money
This is a very capable kit, well stocked withe a variety of different foam, wool and microfibre pads. The quality is passable, but most people will probably upgrade as the pads wear out. Would have been nice to have a bag for the stuff, but that is really being a bit cheeky for the price. The only issue I have is not really knowing the orbit speed of each speed setting, and the manual does not list the info either, so if anyone finds out, please post it up.Generally a very safe buy.

Convenient for small areas
Hi very convenient for those areas around handles and indicators where the larger pads get damaged. I like the extension bars so you can work at different distances from the work area. Good product. Nice variety of pads. Runs on electricity so no battery to have to recharge.

Effective, nicely made small polisher.
Used to compound and restore shine to smaller area's between deck fittings on the gel coat deck surface of a boat. The harder foam pads were OK but not as good as proper twisted wool pads like Rupes or Sisha. Fortunately the M14 bit is pretty universal so can kit yourself out with better alternatives than those supplied. Machine itself is good, not too heavy I used it all day and the variable speed is useful. The switch mentioned in other reviews was not a problem - if you put your thumb at the back of the switch push the switch forwards to get the machine going then keeping your thumb on the switch (to keep it going) slide your thumb along the switch to the raised forward part of the switch and press inwards to lock in place. When you want it to stop just press the rearwards most part of the switch. Found it easy to operate.

Excellent quality!!
Having looked at various polishers for my classic car I decided to buy the SPTA polisher as it was a third the price of other commercial polishers. Not expecting too much I wasn't expecting such a good quality item when I opened the box! There was everything in the box that I needed, including various grades of sponge polishers and wool polishers also in various sizes. I won't go into the detail of these foam polishers as one can see what's available in the pictures!! Suffice to say one can buy replacement foam and wool polishers easily.OK, so on to the operation... The weigh and balance of the polisher is very good, it doesn't weigh as much as I thought, but this does not detract from the quality of the item. It's easy to wield and the motor speed controller is first class. On the slowest setting there is no "pulsing" where the motors speed is inconsistent. The motor itself is, to me, a very quiet as well. The pads are really easy to attach as they are using Velcro. The overall quality, including the power lead is substantial. I haven't used the extension parts. To be honest I wouldn't recommend using them, unless the extension pieces afford you access to the parts you need to work on.Now, I haven't used other polishers like the Maguires polisher (at three times the cost), and to be honest I'm no professional car detailer, I'm an engineer by trade but I know when I come across an item that really fits the bill, for me at least!I would give this a 10/10 and is a very handy piece of kit for the amateur car buff.

Cracking bit of kit
Swap the polishing pads for better quality and it's a great little machine.Handy for all those awkward areas and also larger panels.

Works well once you master the on off switch
Product is good for polishing aluminum and metal parts. I used chrome Polish. The pads do ware down quite quickly so will need to buy more of the small ones but they work well with light pressure. On off switch requires a certain technique which is made to avoid accidental switch on.My main concern is there is a smell of burning electronics after a few minutes of use. Being an ex electronics engineer I fear it will fail soon.. So will reach out for a return

Great addition
Solid tool, the extensions really let you get to parts where my DA isn’t able too.First time using a rotary, took my time watches a few videos on YouTube etc… but nothing to be afraid of, swirls disappeared and looks great once you add a lsp such as a decent wax.Only small niggle the pads could be better, compared to Lakeland or similar they’re not anywhere ear as good. All in all very happy

Budget polisher
Finally got round to using this polisher and I must say it's quite good! The stop start button could be a little bit firmer and if it wer placed on the side it would be easier to use.Pads ain't the best either but they get the job done and produced a good shine. All in all great price for a polisher that works.
