NEBOLarry Silver 8 LED Work Light

1) VERY COOL LIGHT, BUT EXTREAMLY HEAVY . HOWEVER..IVE LEARNED TO LOVE IT AFTER DROPING IT AND NOT HAVING IT ON ME . IF I CANT FEEL IT I KNOW TO CHECK MY LAST JOB, HA.2) O RINGS THAT KEEP THE SWIVEL CONTROLLED BROKE QUICKLY AND ARENT NORMAL SIZES SO MY KITS DIDNT HELP THERE. HOWEVER I STUFFED ONE IN THERE ANYWAY AND GOT IT TO STAY PUT AGAIN.ITS PERFECTLY FINE WITHOUT JUST SWIVELS FREELY. THE ORING SIMPLY IS A FRICTION BUFFER SO THE SWIVEL STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT,NOT A SEALANT AS THE WHOLE DIODE HOUSING IS NOT WATER TIGHT ANYWAYS.3) IMPRESSIVE FLOOD/FIELD RANGE ASWELL AS OUTPREFORMS MY LED MAGLIGHT I CARRIED FOR YEARS4) MAGNET IS VERY STONG I OFTEN PICK UP KEYS,TOOLS AND OTHER ITEMS AS I SQUEEZE BY EVEN WORKS ON MOST SMOOTH SURFACES THAT ARENT WAXED .FOR EXAMPLE IT SLOWLY SLID TO A STOP ON MY TEXTURED FRIDGE BUT STAYS PUT ON MY TOOL BOX. ANYWHERE ELSE IE UNDER BODY,FRAME,CHASSIS ECT NO PROBLEM.5) OBVIOSLY THIS WILL NOT ATTACH TO STAINLESS OR ALUMINUM ECT BUT THE CLIP OFTEN BECOMES USEFULL AS YOU CAN CLIP THIN OBJECTS, WIRES ECT TO DO THE DEED.6) IT STAYS IN MY POCKET EVEN WHEN IM CREEPING AROUND UNDER A TRAILOR OR VEHICLE DUE TO THE MAGNET PINCHING MY PANT MATIERIAL7) I DONT KNOW THE WATER PROOF RATING IF ANY BUT I WAS SURPRISED HOW ITS SURVIVED GETTING WATER ON IT SO MANY TIMES.8) THE BATTERIES LAST FOREVER EVEN WHEN I LEAVE IT ON WHAT THEY CLAIM IVE DOUBLED THE RUN TIME EASILY..JUST REMEMBER THERES 3 TO CHANGE, I HAD ONE GET STUCK AND WAS USED TO CHANGING TWO IN MY MAGLITE SO THIS MADE ME THINK THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE LIGHT.9) I HAVE DROPPED THIS A MILLION TIMES FROM VARIED HEIGHTS AND STILL GOING WITH NO ISSUES.SO THE CIRCUITS ARE WELL MADE.10) SAME SHAPE AND STYLE AS THE 40+$ SNAP ON /MAC TOOLS ONE BUT 5 TIMES THE QUALITY AND APPEAL. THE OTHERS WILL BE JEALOUS WHEN YOU TELL THEM WHAT YOU PAID.AND SEE WHAT THEY GOT. CURRENTLY 15.00 GIVE OR TAKE.11) DIMMER IS SIMPLE, HOLD THE BUTTOM ONCE YOU TURN IT ON ,ITS A CONTINUOUS DIMMER THE WILL KEEP GOING HIGH TO LOW IN A LOOP YOU MUST TIME IT AND LET GO...I NEVER USE THIS THIS FEATURE AS THE LIGHT IS EVEN,WIDE AND BRIGHT. NOT OVERPOWERING AND BLINDING LIKE THE ONES THAT ARE HUNDREDS OF LUMANS...I DONT WORK IN A FIELD AT NIGHT AND NEED TO SEE 400 YARDS LIKE SNAP ON AND MACS WHICH SHINE THE LIGHT BACK AT YOU AND BLIND YOU REMDERING THE DIM FEAUTURE USEFULL...I NEED TO SEE WHAT IM DOING OR LOOKING AT SO ITS PERFECT FOR A TECH. AS FOR THE ON OFF SWITCH OTHERS COMPLAINED ABOUT ..MY LIGHT CLICKS HUNDREDS OF TIMES AND IT CLICKS GOOD AS NEW . THIS IS MY GOTO LIGHT WHEN IM TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING OR FIX IT. I ONLY WISH THEY WOULD MAKE AN ALUMINUM VERSION SO IT WAS THIS TOUGHT BUT A LITTLE LIGHTER. ID HAVE 3 THEN.

First one I was given as a gift last year so I bought another one as a gift, unfortunately it flickers on and off when moved unlike the first.The dimmer works better in the newer one, even checked the spring on the bottom to ensure contact with the batteries was nice and tight. Still no luck.It was sent to a friend so returning it is not an option unfortunately.

It flickers a little. It works fine and is bright but the cap holding the batteries in makes the light flicker when it is bumped. I like how it is metal but I can also see why they stopped making this model.

Feel heavy duty, but fittment oF machined parts is lacking. The swivel madnetic clip has to much moment to be tight when used. Dimmer switch works well and the light out put is great. I'd still like to see the overall quality be better.

I do got to say these flashlights are bright.But this one is just awesome.I've always always worried the plastic ones would break.Sure they say they're good for the tool work.But plastic is still plastic.And this flashlight is made out of metal.Heavy and sturdy.This I definitely would take for work.And one to be afraid of it breaking from some abuse.As in bumps into stuff etc..

I was recommended the Larry light by a friend at a pawnshop and this is hands down the best light I've ever owned. It's crazy bright, runs on easy to find AAA batteries, and it's made with quality. It doesn't feel like those S***ty flashlights you get at Frys. I'm definitely ordering more of these in the future. One for the car, and a fee for around the house.

Had some trouble with plastic Larry's standing up to my pocket. The switch on the top didn't last and the battery cover would get loose and then the light would flicker. This Larry seems more heavy duty and I am hoping that it will hold up better under my pockets wear and tear! Absolutely loved my other Larrys they just didn't last very long.

I bought this light as a replacement for the first Larry light I had. The plastic base of the switch started to split on the original; no complaints, I used it hard for two years clipped to a ring on a strap that stressed the part. The Larry Silver light is extremely solid, I don't expect any issues at all.
