I found this little book as a last minute add on for the recent holidays. My six year old grandson and I sat on the couch and picked up this book and had one of the very best times going through these silly scenarios! He absolutely loved it! We went through half of the book one evening and he was eager to pick it back up the next day. He even put down his Ipad to pay attention to this book!A couple of the references in some of the scenarios were a bit archaic for him. He did not have much a frame of reference for comic books, for instance, he being a modern Ipad kid. And, there were just a couple of other out of date references. But, mostly, they were really thought provoking and stimulated a lot of great discussion. There were just enough silly cartoons scattered about the book to add to the silliness.Afterwards, he surprised me with his own "Would You Rather" scenarios and they were really quite clever!It would be a great book to have on a family car trip.I found 100% pure pleasure and novelty in this book. It makes a great gift with no batteries , no plastic parts to break, and no mini figures---just old fashioned thought stimulation and lively conversation is to be had.

Our family did a gift exchange for Christmas where we each brought a board game worth about 15 dollars. The game I purchased was only about $10 and was geared toward kids, so I bought this as a fun extra to go along with it. I read through it with my husband to make sure there wasn't anything offensive in it and it does seem safe. There are some scenarios that seem odd (reading it as an adult) and many are unrealistic, but I can definitely see the kid humor in it. The boy that picked my gift seemed really excited about the book, his mom said they have some of this kind of book at home. He spent a lot of the rest of the day going around and asking the other kids and adults to give their opinion on various scenarios.

This isn't a fancy book, but my 6 year old loves to read me all the would your rather scenarios.Some of them don't make great sense, (would you rather have a friendly ghost or a scary monster?) but for the most part it's an easy engaging way to have a fun conversation starter with a kindergartner.I wish it was about a dollar cheaper because of the very basic quality, or if I had picked it up at a book fair so that someone else could get a little benefit out of the full price.

Fun book, great entertainment

My 8 year old loves this! Santa accidentally gave him a different Would You Rather book, but it had to be taken away due to some very inappropriate questions. The i tried ordering a different one and it was just as bad. This one is great- nothing I don't mind him seeing.

Funny. Definitely for kids!

My 7 year old nephew LOVED this book! It kept him occupied during a long car ride. Fun scenarios and ease of him to read made this a total winning combination. I also learned a lot about his thought process which was another unexpected layer of enjoyment.

My family has enjoyed this book so much!! Every time I see my nephew he begs us to read the scenarios to him and my boys. FYI; You might want to get your phone or camera out and hit record before you get started :)
