Works great for me, going on 2 years
Felt the need to review since there are practically none and I've had a great experience. I replaced a Zareba with this charger. The Zareba was ineffective if a single bird poop landed on my fence. It wasn't strong enough to even phase my donkeys at full charge, so I finally ripped it out. It was a comparable model but just wholly ineffective. This Power Wizard gives a powerful bite and can handle grass touching it and other impedance, I am very impressed. Definitely recommend over the more common brands!

Buy a different brand.
Stopped working within 15 days. Very disappointed in this product. Would make a great paperweight.

and they suck! Bought from Dels / Tractor Farm Supply and ...
Have (soon had) 3 of these for my horses, and they suck! Bought from Dels / Tractor Farm Supply and not only are they weak and unreliable, but the batteries CONSTANTLY fail. First batteries lasted just over a year (so-so), replacement batteries lasted less than 6 months! Next set 3 months! Manufacturer says NO WARRANTY on batteries so tough luck. My old Parmak systems lasted 3-4 years, but since no more vendor on Maui I bought the Power Wizards. Never again. I actually found a 5 year old Parmak battery which hadn't been charged in years, out of desperation installed it in my last remaining Parmak charger and in 2 days was fully operational! With WAY more kick than the crappy Power Wizard. Ordering 2 more Parmak now, and junking the Power Wizards. Be warned.
