an awesome monitor
I download the vistas from Microsoft for my backgrounds and on this monitor they look absolutely fantastic. This monitor replaced my LG 27EA33V 27" monitor and it is a perfect upgrade. My use model is two windows side by side. On the left a video and on the right an app I'm working in. On the 27" both the video and the app space was too small, on this 34" they are perfect size.I am not using the audio as I have a Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System hooked up already.I was very careful to remove the plastic films slowly and carefully because I read that if you weren't careful you could remove the silver coating on the outside bezel along with the plastic. There was a warning note about this supplied but the picture showed film being removed from the screen. There was no plastic film covering the screen just other sections.Pros:- simple unbox and assembly, great set of cables, my first monitor with display port- worked perfectly out of the box, incredible picture, excellent resolution and colours, I am unable to adjust my old Samsung 910v 19" sitting beside it to get anything close to the white on this monitor.- the default settings are just fine for me, I'm not adjusting anything.- shiny silver stand base looks impressive to me, stand is designed to easily swivel the monitor- adjustable stand is a bonus, I don't need to adjust because the monitor sits 7" above my desk on a shelf that is attached to my desk. Good thing it sits low enough in the stand (top of screen is 17" above the shelf at lowest position) to be perfect height for me.Cons:- Very slight con - My LG 27EA33V 27" monitor at 9 lbs was the lightest monitor I have ever owned. This monitor at 22 lbs is a fair bit heavier than the LG but it is not a HEAVY monitor overall.- Notice some slight backlight bleed in the lower corners when video is black. Not enough to change my high opinion of this monitor.I am extremely ecstatic with this purchase.Update:The Screen+ software stopped working for no reason and required a PC reboot. Great when it works providing 7 screen configurations. The i-Menu sofware seems fully functional providing more adjustments than you'd care to know. I did not install the e-Saver softwre.

One of the best looking monitors I've seen
I really wanted to like this monitor but the problem it has is just not worth the trouble. When I first unboxed this monitor and plugged it in, there was a popping noise followed by a black screen for a few second. I thought it was a fluke or something and ignored it. Then there was the horizontal lines flickering every few minutes. Its been 3 days since I've received this monitor and it has only gotten worst. Now I can't even go longer than a few seconds before the screen pops and goes blank and the nonstop flickering. This is an amazing professional looking monitor but until AOC can fix the flickering and popping problems, it's just not worth it to get this monitor. Overall a solid monitor with a great stand that looks and performs great except for slight backlight bleed.UPDATE: I bought a new surge protector, changed the displayport cable, and plugged it into a differnt wall socket. The popping issues and screen flickering are now gone.

... got two of these off Amazon and one from Best Buy. Great bang for the buck
I got two of these off Amazon and one from Best Buy. Great bang for the buck. One hooked up to my DP another one hooked up via hdmi to DP adapter cable and this new one hooked up via DP to DP via USB video graphics adapter. All works great and use for work and play in home office. Got first one a year ago and next two about 2 months apart. Cannot beat price and features, comes with hookup you could need.

Best monitor I've seen in a long time
First one loud popping from lower left corner then black screen, if it came back it had artifacts every where. Second on (after exchange) did the same thing. Tried sending it in to manufacture for repair. It returned with an replaced power supply, Started with the loud popping in the lower left corner again. returned product to seller and bought a Dell 34" curved screen. Best monitor I've seen in a long time. As for the AOC don't waste your time until they start fixing them right.

Dreaded connection issues started
Unfortunately I started having the common connection issues. if you search for this model, you'll see this complain on the reviews of all sites. It's a shame, because it's gorgeous and a great price. Returning for a prompt refund

An amazing upgrade.
AWESOME monitor. No problems with it thus far... Games look amazing and the work space is ridiculous. Came from a 15.6" laptop; the difference is impressive.

Ottimo Prodotto
