Baxter of California Purify Clay Mask AHA for Men

This is the family go to for a wash off clay mask. I keep it on overnight. I notice fewer blackheads, fewer mini bumps, smaller, less swollen, red, irritated acne and skin color. Helps suck the acne into formed heads to be properly "popped" according to dermatologist directions. Always seek dermatologist or primary care physician before "popping". My acne "does not form", it sits under the skin til pores fill with puss and blood under the surface. Ever since adding this clay mask, I get one or two such breakouts, clearer, smoother, minimal acne breakouts. Very Very pleased. Love love love this clay mask by Baxter.

Love this product! I use it about twice a week and it makes my skin feel clean and refreshed. It has a very nice earthy scent. No burning or tingling, more of a cooling effect. Definitely worth adding to your skincare routine whether you are a man or woman! (I apply this with a damp flat face mask brush and it applies perfectly.)

I usually don't like clay masks at all because they feel so heavy and haven't ever seemed to do anything for me. I wanted to try this one out because I trust Baxter products. This went on very easy and it was light. I didn't mind wearing it for the 10 minutes because it wasn't that noticeable. The best thing about this is that it is so easy to wash off. I can use this at night and wash it off in the sink instead of using it in the shower. It came right off with some warm water and and a washcloth.

Scent is almost non existent with notes of almond and vanilla. Color is egg white beige. Takes a few washes to remove. It does make my skin feel crazy soft and vibrant, like adding an actual Snapchat filter. There might be better masks out there for this value but I really trust and enjoy this brand so I’ll stick with it for now.

I was really surprised by the lack of results I saw with this clay mask. In my experience, Baxter products are reliably high quality--generally enough so to justify their price tags. However, I recently used another clay mask also obtained from Amazon, and the difference in the results were very stark. The other mask (priced cheaper than this one) instantly refreshed my face and the before/after effects were noticeable. Skin was smoother, pores shrank, etc. On the flip side, I really saw no difference at all after using this Baxter mask. I suppose my skin felt a bit softer, but it was nothing remarkable. On the bright side, I have VERY sensitive skin and the Baxter mask did not irritate my face or cause any breakouts. It's also fairly easy to remove from your face and won't stain your sink. While it is fragrance-free, clay does have its own scent, but it's nothing overpowering. To me it's always smelled vaguely of a very mild coffee. Nothing unpleasant. On the whole I can't enthusiastically recommend this product. I know from experience there are better options available elsewhere on Amazon and at lower prices.

Decent purifying clay mask formulated for men. This one is listed as fragrance free but when spreading it onto your skin you will pick up on a faint, mineral-esque odor. The clay mask applies to your skin easily and evenly and dries out in a couple of minutes without hardening up excessively and flaking off as your facial muscles make small, natural movements. Instructions recommend rinsing off after 10-15 minutes after which your skin will be more noticeably refreshed and rejuvinated. For maximum benefits be sure to apply a layer of moisturizer shortly after to lock in the benefits.
