Simplay3 American Home 41705R-01 Outdoor Sharing Library

I'm very happy I bought this. I installed it over a 4 x 4 post kit that I hammered into the ground myself in just a few minutes with tools that I could easily handle. I'm thrilled with this since after considering a Little Free Library for a few years I realized I wasn't really ever going to get around to building one. This was the perfect solution. And the cost was far less than buying a Little Free Library Kit that I still would have had to assemble and paint myself. My one complaint? The size inside. While it accommodates adult books wonderfully, it does not really lend itself to children's books so easily as they tend to be oversized. (I put them upright along the back wall -- not a great solution but a solution.) It handles a fair amount of books and I make sure to check it every day and switch things up if they don't move out in a reasonable amount of time. This was a very nice alternative to the one I designed in my head but never had the energy to build.

Set it up in our relatively new neighborhood, first little library of its kind here. We play Pokémon Go so in addition to having the library for sharing books with neighbors,we were able to get it made into a Pokestop.

My mom died and left a lot of books behind. I didn't know what to do. I made trips to local libraries and sold several- but still have an entire 6ft tall bookcase of books. I wanted to do something in memorial to my mom and this was my gesture. It also happens to protect my water main that is on a dirt road way too close to the path of travel, so it gets ran over and destroyed occasionally. Only once since installing this library in between mine and my neighbors cement boxes out on the street. So WIN-WIN. Something for the neighbors to do, check out and enjoy. Unfortunately not too many kids in my neighborhood have been taking books so I added more adult ones.OH, this should be about the library.I am not a builder and I am not good at measuring- so my library is too tall. lolOther than that I did it with some help from my husband and it is perfect. I really want another one to put up in a second location.Books stay dry when it rains! I have had this up for two years now and no problems at all. Love it!

I am so happy I purchased this! I really wanted something that is low maintenance and will last against weather! It holds a good amount of books but is a little shirt so it won't hold tall picture books unfortunately. Overall I'm very satisfied with my new little free library!

I’ve been wanting one of these to put at the bottom of my front yard so the kids in the neighborhood could grab free books or leave books and it’s absolutely amazing

I wanted to install a Little Free Library at my house. I purchased the Simplay3 Sharing Library as an alternative to the wooden Little Free Libraries due to cost. The Sharing Library was easy to set up and install. It fits quite a few books of varying sizes and lengths. However, I wish it was a tad deeper for the extra wide children's books. I also wish there was a design that was more neutral. The big plastic red library clashes with the exterior of my home. However, that is just my vanity speaking. It is a good product for a good price.

Update: The library has now been in use for nearly a year and a half. Still thrilled with the purchase. The durability, construction and low maintenance has served us well.We have now experienced all Northeast Ohio weather and the LFL has done wonderfully. No problems at all. ♥️It!This works well as a Little Free Library.I like the fact that it is plastic. No wood means no real upkeep. The product is aesthetically pleasing. Durable and assembly was easy.
