Fuel Line Carburetor Kit for STIHL FS38 FS45 FS55 String Trimmer Weed Eater Part

Gave up trying to tune the old carburettor after low speed and idle running too rich. Have bought one of these kits before, and they're great value for money compared to genuine parts. The only parts I wouldn't bother using are the fuel lines (poor quality rubber that will split within a year or so), and the spark plug (prefer to use NGK in all my equipment). All other parts are good to go. Carburettor may need a little fine tuning out of the box. My 2007 Stihl FS38 lives to fight another day!

Bought this Hicello replacement carburetor for my old Stihl FS45 which was struggling to idle and regularly needed re-starting. Even after painstakingly setting the carb up it would struggle and then get worse after an hour of use. So, I took the plunge and bought the Hicello version. I chose this kit because it came with the full carb kit, gaskets, air filter, spark plug, fuel lines and spare fuel priming bulbs. Incredible value at £15.99 and I admit I was dubious about its quality when I bought it. I needn't have worried! After carefully removing the air filter and then two 8mm nuts the carb slipped off and the new one fitted perfectly. I didn't need the new gaskets or fuel lines as mine were in good order after a quick clean and dry. I primed the bulb until petrol was visible and flowing and the Stihl fired up on the second pull. It idles beautifully, needed no adustment and runs just like it did 12 years ago. Highly recommended, my only regret was not changing it years ago. If you need your Stihl to run properly - buy this carb kit. Highly recommended and, from my experience, a perfect buy.

Great item. 10 mins to fit to my FS38, no problems, everything went on perfectly, carb, gaskets, fuel line and filter, air filter and spark plug. Started up on a couple of pulls and now running great again. What’s not to like.

It but doesn't run very well.

The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately the carburettor doesn’t fit my Stihl FS55R (January 2015 built) the carburettor bore is too small and doesn’t fit on the intake manifold. The kit seems to be decent enough for the money however I’m going to return this and get a carburettor that fits correctly.

Hat bei mir perfekt auf den fs55 gepasst. Hab jedoch die alte Flanschdichtung zum Block hin wieder benutzen müssen weil eine zu dünn war und es sonst einen Luftspalt ergeben hätte.Sonst alles top, der fs rennt wieder!

Perfecto para FS55, solo he colocado el carburador que era lo que me hacía falta y funciona perfectamente.
