It takes patience and it is easy to damage the unit if you are not very careful. This pre-trimmed adapter is ready to go out of the box, simply plug it in, zip tie it on and you are done.. Thanks! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixed my SOS fault / audio issue on my BMW E90 caused by dead Sirius XM module *by G***U on September 4, 2025* Easy fix on my 2007 BMW 328i wagon (E90 E91 E92 generation) for an SOS fault which causes the audio to not work. Used this to bypass the dead Sirius XM radio module in the trunk. Open the driver side hatch in the trunk, pull out the connector on the back of the Sirius XM module and pop this into the connector to link the two connector terminals (one connector terminal is lit up and the other is not lit). Done! 2 minute job if you know where to go. Even came with a zip tie to secure the loose connector now that it's no longer plugged into the back of the Sirius XM module.
