I bought this 11.5 W bulb to replace an 8 W Osram bulb in a Westinghouse ceiling fan. I had always found the light from my original choice of bulb (bought to replace an 80 W halogen) to be too weak for the room. My new Osram bulb is certainly brighter but I would not mind something that was brighter still. Unfortunately with this model of bulb there doesn't seem to be a lot of choice.

Bright bulb, but it CAUGHT FIRE in my fixture, if I hadn't been standing right there it could have burned down my house! I have been trying for a *YEAR* to get replacements from OSRAM/LEDvance, and they haven't bothered to ship me replacements. DON'T BUY THIS BULB!

The seller should have provided a picture of this light bulb in a lateral position as it replaces a much thinner halogen bulb. The diameter is described as 28mm but the connectors are eccentric thus a space of at least 40 mm is required whereas my lumps only have 30 mm.

I got mine from Amazon Warehouse, obviously returned by folk but much cheaper than buying new. Needed them for conservatory light fitings and they are just fine with decent amount of light output.

Nice light colour but failed after nine months , it might have saved me electricity but burnt a whole in my wallet due to cost and short life.

Bought Osram for no other reason that it was Osram and not some cheap generic product. Installed it and in no time it began flashing instead of staying on, oscilates from like maybe 15% of brightness to 100%, making my front porch like a disco rather than illuminated for safety.

Ottima luminosità e notevole risparmio rispetto ad una alogena. Non posso valutare la longevità avendole montate da poco. Il prezzo è un po’ elevato (motivo per non avere dato 5 stelle per il rapporto qualità prezzo). Acquistato con il consueto ottimo servizio di Amazon.

Sono rimasto stupito perché ha la stessa tonalità e quasi la stessa resa luminosa dell'alogena da 100 watt (mi riferisco a quella da 78mm), viste accese insieme. Speriamo che durino ma la marca dovrebbe essere una garanzia.

Lampada a led robusta e ben costruita, perfetta per sostituire le lampade alogene di pari lunghezza.Ho acquistato due di queste lampade a led con cui sostituire una alogena da 100 watt e una da 250 watt.Facendo una confronto con la alogena da 100 watt, il flusso luminoso emesso è del tutto equivalente, mentre nel caso della alogena da 250 watt la quantità di luce emessa risulta inferiore, ma comunque soddisfacente per le mie esigenze.In entrambi i casi la riduzione dei consumi è enorme (consumo di soli 11,5 watt), con un notevole risparmio in termini economici. Pertanto, ritengo si tratti di una ottima soluzione per sostituire le ben più energivore lampade alogene.

Es la que mas potencia de luz he encontrado en este tamaño (1521 lumen), hay que contar siempre que al ser luz cálida (luz amarilla 2700 K) da un poco menos luz que una bombilla de luz blanca, pero en este caso es buena sustituta de una 100W alógena de las de toda la vida. Me ha sorprendido que aunque pone que no es regulable la he conseguido regular aceptablemente sin parpadeos en una lámpara que lo es. Los contactos están bastante descentrados con respecto al centro de la lampara (en las fotos no se aprecia por la perspectiva de las mismas) por lo que es apropiada en los casos en los que el entre el portalámparas y el plafón haya poco espacio.

Can't tell if this led bulb is any more efficient than filament... It lasted less than a week and ive gone back to my Phillips filament.
