Perfect leader for finesse fishing
I used the 5" 12lb test for the first time yesterday. I'm an avid finesse bass fisherman using primarily light line and soft plastics in medium weed and lily cover. I get bit off by little pike quite often but have steered away from leaders because they adversely effect my.presentation.After multiple bite offs yesterday bass fishing in a lake known for aggressive small pike, my buddy, who I noticed hadn't been bitten off all morning but had rather landed and released several little pike, tossed me one of these little leaders and said "USE THESE" I was skeptical but, they are VERY flexible and lighter weight than normal leaders so it didnt change my presentation much...I stopped getting bit off and caught plenty of decent bass without issue...ofcourse the trade off was that I then had to land these damned little hammer handle nuisance pike... lol...My box wont be without these ever again.
