I own many knives and end up ALWAYS using this one. Weather I am cutting bread, vegetables, meat etc -- this on is always best one in my cupboards. I had bought one 20 years ago and decided I would buy another -- however old one is still my second favorite. It is very sharp and NEVER needs sharpening. All those fancy various knives are superfluous when you own this one.

I knew what to expect; i have used these knives for 55 years. nothing wrong with mine just kneed another set for beach house. I am buying used or 2nd owner to make a set; any that need help will be sent back to CUTCO for sharpening and polishing paying only for shipping costs. The ones I have used for 55years were my demo set when I sold them as a summer job in college!

Great knife - I used to sell Cutco and when my carving knife was stolen, I thought of no other brand....I guess I should have gotten the smaller version as this one is too big

This is a great knife, but be sure you don't buy it from The Sahr Reserve. I was a shipped a junk knife that had only a straight edge. I was assured by CutCo's headquarters via E-mail that such a knife could only have been a factory defect, used and filed down to a straight edge, pre-dating 1952, when they stopped making them with a straight edge, or counterfeit. Be careful who you buy from.

Did not meet expectations for a carving knife. It tore instead of slice. How can I exchange it for a different cutco knife?

Love these knives. They were packaged well and arrived quickly. My kids were happy to get it.

Seem well made, but have not given them as a gift yet. It is what he wanted so think he will be satisfied.
