Contrary to other reviews you don't need nuts to put this together.Just remove the screws from the bracket and screw them back on placing base above bracket and putting screws into base and then into bracket.Repeat for top and the bird feeder is ready to go.I just hope the birds like it as much as I do.Only time will tell.

It looks great and I didn't find it too difficult to put together. Unlike other purchasers, I didn't find any problem with not having a nut to connect the top.I bought two very close together - and I keep them very close together. One of them now has really bad signs of rusting, the other is fine. I don't think the situation makes a difference - but maybe it does.I like it and the birds like it - it's fine for suet pellets, mealworms and sunflower seeds (but wouldn't work for small seeds).Cleaning is a bit of a nightmare, but it can be done. I'm not sure that I'd take it apart.That said, I like it - I just wish it had better electroplating.

Looks lovely in the garden a nice addition and protects the birds from rain. I was surprised how strong it is when up against heavy wind. Not for large birds only small like robins

Less than a year old and rusting… not what I expected from a product that is sold as copper.

It looks lovely, it’s sturdy and hopefully will prove to be rainproof with the big top cover. It’s hard to find a peanut feeder that works without the nuts getting jammed, and is easy for the little birds to eat from. Received the next day, put it together in minutes with the supplied self tapping screws. I love it

Looks attractive, better than “copper like” items. Hopefully this copper coating lasts.

Bought for my brother. It won’t be used because missing some screws! Shame. Very disappointing.
