Let me start off by saying I am not using this as a ball, I am using it as a microphone isolator. That said, I don't think it would be great as a ball. Why not? Firstly, it has yellowed a bit in just the first few weeks in my VO studio. I suspect the UV of sunlight would make that yellowing much worse. And second, little flakes of blue foam are coming off of it constantly. And I am not talking about in the areas I had to cut, either. Just when I adjust the position of the mic, tiny foam flakes will come off of the outside of the ball. I'm actually a little bit concerned that foam flakes could get into my microphone. I'll be buying a genuine foam mic isolator soon, and this will be heading to the garbage.

I have been looking for a good quality foam ball similar to the old Nerf ball I had as a kid when growing up. This one (in green) is a near exact replacement. Foam is nice and dense and isn't too squishy or light weight. Perfect for indoor use. Price seemed a little high for a foam ball but happy I found what I was looking for. For some reason delivery required a signature which I felt wasn't needed for a low cost item and especially with current events. Diameter of the ball is roughly about 8-1/8" so just about the size of a volleyball.

I was given exercises from my physical therapist to do at home. One of these exercises included use of a ball. However, I did not want one where the air would leak out and I would be trying to keep it full and firm.This ball is just the right size and the right firmness for getting the most out of my exercise. This is perfect for these home exercises.

My class needed a soft ball to use for indoor recess. This is the perfect ball for Silent Ball!!

It was a constant struggle between my grandson and me over throwing things in the house. This was all exacerbated by his being totally confined to the indoors during the wild fires in California. He would try to keep balls, etc. below knee level, but at age 2 1/2 it was too much to ask. This sponge ball has been the perfect solution. It it large enough to be a perfect ball for tossing. My dear grandson is able to play catch, toss the ball,bounce it & no one has had to worry about lamps being knocked over, or pictures being knocked off the walls, etc. The only problem with the ball is that it picks up lint & dog hair, but a quick swipe with a lint roller once a day quickly solves that problem.

I have 2 of these to use on our 16 foot trampoline. They are great! Good quality!

I used this lil guy to make a replica microphone pop filter and isolator. Worked like a charm!

Good ball for the pool and did exactly what we wanted until our puppy tore it apart.
