Scott Snyder/Jock is one of my favorite combinations on a Batman book, tied with Scott Snyder/Greg Capullo. Not only is the quality excellent, but I greatly appreciate it when the same artist is used throughout a book. I find it jarring when the art drastically changes from chapter to chapter as a result of a different artist (not that they aren’t good. I just prefer consistency.) If I had to complain about anything, it would be the font used for the Batman Who Laughs. Yes, the jagged red text really did suit his character, but it was very difficult for me to read on a black/dark grey background. Interior art is unique and captures the emotion of a scene well. The overall story for the batman who laughs is fairly complex and is captured in many cross comic issues so you won't get every detail in this series alone.
