They are nice and strong. And cheaper than buying 2-packs at the stores
I use these to hold my pegs on the cribbage boards I build. The pegs do not fall off, unless you drop the board, but what did you think would happen?

Great Magnets - Incredibly Strong!
I needed something strong enough to hold mosquito netting to the inside of my car door, and had previously purchased some magnets from WalMart that were woefully inadequate. I was unsure when ordering these, but they arrived promptly and are incredibly strong -- so strong that it's almost hard for me to separate them. They seem very sturdy and will work perfectly for what I need them for, but when handling them they do "slough off" or leave some sort of dark residue on my fingers (but it is easily brushed off.) Also, I do think that if dropped, they might shatter... the good thing is that they're strong enough, I don't have to worry about them coming loose and falling on their own... I just need to be sure not to drop them :)

Useful for exploring magnetic concepts.
I bought these to use as part of several class activities. They worked well but a few students were overly rough and several broke leaving sharp points.

Strong magnets I use on my fridge to hold things there.
Really like my set of magnets that came neatly packed in a little box. These are robust magnets. Yes they have dust on them but you can just wipe them off with a wet cloth before using them and then it is okay. I just use mine to hold up bunches of paper stuff on my fridge and they are strong and do an excellent job for that. It can easily hold a good 10 sheets or more of paper 8 x 11 on a fridge very securely. I don't know if they break when dropped because I have never dropped them for how I use them. Mine have always lasted for years and still really stick to the fridge, real good!

powerful but breaks easily
Be careful not to get your fingers between two magnets. They're powerful. NOT for children!!! They also will break if dropped on concrete. But if you're careful, these may be just the thing for your project.

GREAT MAGNETS!
Great magnets! Good weight to hold curtains down between rooms & they're strong & keep them in place for heating & cooling when cats go between rooms to litter box area! Also helps keep any odor contained until box is cleaned daily. Highly recommend - used 1 box per curtain.

Hours of fun for a few bucks, just watch the fingers!
These are excellent magnets and for the price it is a decent deal. I use these in some class experiments with middle school age kids showing them how induction works and let them build simple motors using magnets and wire coils. However like with any magnet, especially those that are a bit stronger you'll want to be a bit careful while handling these. It is quite easy to have a finger pinched between them.

Very solid
So I have some Fourth Of July bunting for my front porch - I needed something to hold the bunting down in the wind - bought the magnets and "attached" to the bottom of the bunting and these worked great (the bunting sandwiched between two magnets). I had previously bought some supposedly really strong magnets from Amazon last year, but they were light weight and cracked/fell apart when they fell on the ground. These, solid, thick, and seem like they'd hold up. I'd highly recommend.
